On my way to work this morning, at about 7am my colleague was listening to the capital FM breakfast show, and they did a phone in competition, and the prize was two tickets to Harlequins rugby league Vs St Helens this saturday at the stoop!
I was shocked, but think whoever at the club is responsible for this should get a big pat on the back.

Hurray at long last. Brian had suggested this to the club so many times and handed the contact details over to Greg for a number of radio stations weeks ago. Great that it is now being acted on.

Just read the Papa Johns information - this is great work by the club and should bring in a lot of younger people to watch. Grab everyone we can and get them interested. It's up to all of us to keep these walk ups interested. Let's make a noise on Saturday and create an atmosphere everyone will enjoy and will want to come back to.

I hope PB keeps up the good work he seems to really be getting on top of things. All credit to him - it is not an easy job.

An excellent way of promoting the sport. Johnny Vaune is a big sports fan, all be it mainly football and union, I hope the club has invited him down as having him talk about league on that show will be very useful. It's his production company which makes Fighting Talk for Radio 5.

I can just see Louie as a big favourite for London's 25-44 year old females.

At last we're getting coverage on (?) the biggest commercial station in London. What chance the club following this on with some advertising of forthcoming games! We've got some excellent coverage on BBC London sports through Mark Church and now Rammo, maybe Capital could be used to bring the club to more / different potential punters? Are there other stations in the Capital group that we could do promotions on?

Radio Jackie, Radio Eagle, BBC South East, County Sound These all cover the SE area and are always looking for freebies to advertise. Not central to London but around Kingston, Guildford, Elmbridge, Staines etc

He is a big soccer fan....and an England RU fan to boot. Met him near the Big House a couple of years back after England had beaten France and I can testify he also may well know the shortest route to the bar as well

Other useful stations to use in order to try and up the club's profile, and in areas relatively local/accessible to the Stoop. Why not give it a go Mr Blanchard? Got to be worth a try? (no pun intended but could be used a promotional slogan -RL definitely worth a try!)
