| Now, given I will be many many miles away by the time the season KO's next Feb, I don't have much personal financial interest, but I was just wondering if there would be any merit in going down the Huddersfield route and offering a full season for £100?
If we have 1,500 ST holders currently paying an average of £250, then this would cost an initial £225k in revenue. The up-side would be the potential uptake from those occassionals. I am not saying we would add to 2,250 ST holders, but if the club were to promote this heavily between now and the start of next season, then I can see at least 1,000 being added to the average.
I would also reduce the walk up price to £10.
DH has gone on record as saying that gate revenue isn't the be all and end all so I can't imagine that this would impact too much (if he is to be believed). I would also offer every Union ST holder the same deal.
For those that still want to pay a bit more in allocated seating, the middle three blocks (in whatever stand the club decide to use) can be charged at say £150.
As I say, unless NZ immigration get a call from the Warriors Marketing team, I won't be here, but I just wanted to see what people on here think.

| Good call GF. I don't understand it, but I always agree with you and you get a lot of stick on here, it is beyond me.
Slogan: 'A ton of fun', don't forget a Loyal and Loud section who should pay only £75 to compensate for wear and tear on throats and lungs (I am serious by way, the players get a buzz from atmosphere). Get adverts in football programmes for at least for Brentford and Wimbledon and do a deal with the freebies. I would also do a sampler with £50 for half the games, as not everyone can manage a whole season.
It ain't rocket science is it?. I would rather have 1,000 at £100 than 500 at £200. Get on to the Giants and see how it is done, it is no accident that they are on the up. The clock is ticking to 2011.
Boy, will we miss you Gutters!

| I got a feeling that you will get your claws into the Warriors and your Kryptonite powers will be diminished from the other side of the planet. I will only have Mr Lister to astound me!

| Given the economic period we are in coupled with the fact that everything else has been tried, I would be enclined to say go for broke Quins and try something along those lines.
Maybe altered slightly along the lines of
North/South stand ST holders £99.00
East/West unallocated ST £149.00
East/West allocated est seats £199.00 [heavily stewarded
Walk up Adult £10.00
Walk up child/student/OAP £1.00
7 game ST North/South £69.00
7 game ST East/West £89.00
Unallocated East/West Family £299.00 [2 adults / 2 child
Unallocated North/South Family £199.00 [2 adults / 2 child
10% discount on all ST prices if renewed/taken up Pre Nov 1st

This sort of structure would be an improvement on the current one, which has too many strata with too big a gap between cheapest and dearest.
Keep it simple - no more than two prices within the same stand, and no more than three overall. Reserved seats for those who wish to pay top price, unallocated seats for everyone else so they can sit with mates who aren't STHs.
I do think a £10 walk up price is a bit too cheap though. If it was £15 we'd still be the cheapest in the league.
Maybe each season ticket book could include a few complimentary tickets that could be used by friends for any match if accompanied by the season ticket holder?

Problem is, if you are looking to attract NEW fans, then £15 is a tad steep. Remember, the target audience are lapsed northern ex-pats, Australians, Union fans, Soccer fans out of season and locals..........and if you make it attractive (£10), then you have a better chance of getting them through the gate. The £100 ST should take care of the occassionals, so the £10 walk up ticket will be purely for the Newbies.
Bottom line is, that the current ticketing system isn't working, with people paying £15 to sit in a £25 seat and stewards who don't enforce the correct allocation. 2 Blocks, heavily stewarded and tickets checked, with the rest £10 walk up seats

This all sounds eminently sensible - so in all honesty the chances of the club doing something like this would be f**k all squared, in a box!
