Right, today for the first time I saw the flag that we have tried to replicate. Didn't realise it was like that at all. Ours is the same size I think (although I have yet to recieve it, it should arrive at some point nex tweek). I think we underestimate how big its going to be - I noticed a flag in the Lexus today but you could hardly see it (miles away, odd design etc). I was thinking that ideally, our flag could be positioned at the other end of the East Stand rather than being a replacement for the Pride of London effort, which is great IMO (glad we didnt get another "pride of London" effort!). Obviously we'd need to liase with the club over this. If anyone who has contributed to the fund is pally with someone at the club/knows someone who might be able to advise/assist us, could they give me an e-mail address to contact?

I do believe that flag was set up by two ST holders.

After the Wigan game, they were collecting the 'leftover' flags with the aim of sewing them into one.

Good job I say, it looked quite good.

Ruggerrat stitched it together from about 16 or more of the flags given out then paid about 100 quid to have the lettering added.

Couldn't see what it said but good work anyway Ruggerrat - lookforward to seeing it for the rest of the year.

And lets not forget the excellent work that the Morecambe contingent do !!

@ how big this flag is. Our living room is of a reasonable size but not big enough. I'll have to try in the garden. The material is fantastic and the colours PERFECT though

Looking forward to seeing the flag 'in the flesh' so to speak, if its as big as you reckon it should look pretty impressive. Glad you finally found the Pride of London flag! Do you really want to stick the RL ie OUR flag at the other end of the East stand? ie where the away punters are? My only beef with the Pride of London flag is that its RU not OURS. I'd be more than happy to leave it up there but the crest on it ain't our one - I know there are some dual coders out there, so they won't mind but for me on our matchdays we are RL not RU. I personally don't give a monkey's about RU (Harlequins or otherwise) I'm a Londoner, albeit banished to the suburbs, and an RL fan.

Good point, I hadn't thought about the away end factor. The thing is, the Pride of London flag - who actually owns it? The club? If so, we can hardly barge in there and demand they move their flag. I dont care about RU either but I don't mind theit banner tbh.

And of course it will. Again, I will need to liase with someone at the club with regards what to do with it. Perhaps for now, having it in the Lexus with the other flags is the most reasonable idea. I don't know though. Pics coming in a second.
