I thought he had an ok game he made a couple of good drives but dropped the ball a couple of times but I think he can do a job for us though!

The lads crap, lacks aggression and get used to the knock ons as it's part and parcel of his game. Ill never know how he made it at Saints.

No, he made a lot more metres per carry than Mills ever did.

For a first game, he looked OK. I think judgement should be reserved until he plays against a team further up the table though.

Funny that, I agree with your assessment of the performance as a whole, but not re Thompson. The first half in particular was dire, the team was playing at half pace and Thompson's drives when he came on at about 30 mins really livened things up. Obviously there must be problems or Saints wouldn't have released him so we'll just have to see how he goes. I remember Richard Moore being written off by Nobby at Bradford but he came up trumps in the end until his illness.

On the whole a tedious game with just a few sparks of brightness, particularly the build up to Randall's try out on the left.

I noticed he was a glowing shade of orange.....certainly brought some colour to the field.
