Interesting to note in the email I received today that the club are "expecting their biggest home attendance of the season so far" for the Wakefield match. Didn't realise the boy from Britain's Got Talent (who is doing the pre-match/half-time entertainment) was such a crowd puller...

Hi Adam, are you coming down for the match on Sunday? Do you know if any of the Wakey supporters are coming down in fancy dress? Have very fond memories of a bunch of guys (from the post office I think) 30 of them dressed up as nuns when we last played at the Stoop and then a wonderful turn out two years running at Brentford when the supporters club came down as Dads Army and then as film characters. The locals in the pub I used on match days at Brentford used to pester me for weeks to find out what they were coming down as. I was rooting for you guys all the way on Saturday, you were one of my dark horse bets. I hope we don't cop the fall out!

The fancy dress used to be done by the people who went on the organised trip for the weekend, last season there was one or 2 who did it but not as many do it now. But it was a good laugh outside pubs with everyone drssed up



Yeah should be coming down all been well, love the trip even though it takes ages normaly a decent atmosphere depending where we all sit!

Yes, he is, very good upper body strength.

Always took loads of big hits and just got straight back up/ He is not affraid of getting through hard work that is for sure.

Although we might not be the biggest draw for floating supporters we usually travel pretty well and should bring a decent following.

the last 2 seasons we have finished 9th...........and Wakey 8th. Both years we missed out on 8th on points difference.
This is a season make or break game. 2 points, we keep pace with FC and on the tail of Hudds. If we lose, we drop down a bit and the prospect of a home play-off position gets more remote......
Really looking forward to this game. Wigan bossed the Wakey pack last week and if we can keep them under wraps we should win this one!

We really must keep up in the top 8. With Saints up next these points are critical for our campaign, not only to keep the confidence and the momentum going but to convince the marginal fans that the club is progressing on the pitch and we are not going to slide bak lack on previous seasons

With us now placed in the Top 5, it is another "must win game". If we are to be serious about a play-off spot and not just scratching around hoping to grab 8th place, this is a game we need to win.

Missing Stosic and Bibey big time. Bibey should be ok to play Sunday so he will big a big boost to the team, if he can return to the form he was showing before injury!
