Whilst applauding the club for getting a high profile entertainer to perform before the game, I wonder if there are any marketing gurus around (  ) who can provide some evidence that these type of "attractions" provide any long term payback?
I get the impression that when some music sensations perform at CC Finals (for example) very few speccies bother paying any attention. |

Fairly simple if you ask me and a different concept to CC final or GF entertainment, where bands perform to enhance the experience.
George Sampson was/is a big deal to young kids (google him!) - RL has always proven difficult to sell down here, so sell family tickets to George Sampson instead and try to sell them (and parents) rugby league through a great match day experience after he's performed. Suspect this is being sold into schools in the area? No idea what he's charging, but the club will hopefully make his fee back in extra ticket sales; then have a larger crowd and a great match day atmosphere. A strategic alliance, if you will, for George and for Quins.
