Fans Forum

As already mentioned there is going to be a fans forum on 6th May at the Cabbage Patch pub. It is a free event and it is hoped as many as possible will make it as there will be a number of issues to discuss. It needs to be mid week due to David, Brian and Rob’s attendance. They cannot give fans their full attention on a match day as they obviously have other responsibilities. Snacks will be available. Paul will host the evening. The club realise everyone cannot get there mid week whilst other fans cannot get to a forum prior to a game and therefore it is hoped the next one can be prior to a game. The forum will be fully reported on the website and in the programme. Hopefully as many people as possible can get there and information relayed to those who can’t.

All future coach trips will have donations from the club for raffles to help boost the volunteer funds. The funds are to help RL development in London.

Season tickets

The club are trying various initiatives throughout this season to help understand the unhappiness of Quins fans and the problems both the fans and the club are facing. There will be three categories of games A,B and C which w ill help determine which games the North stand is open for. Please bear with the club whilst this transition is put into action.

End of Season

Presentation night will be 15th September at a London venue. Location to be announced shortly.

LWRC

Plans are underway for an amazing day out to include a BBQ and family fun. 9thAugust is likely to be the date. More will be announced as soon as possible but it is going to be an enjoyable event. Anyone who would like to volunteer help would be very welcome. The more volunteers the more we can do the more money we raise.

Half season tickets

The club are working on releasing half season tickets, these will be discussed at the forum and announcements given prior to availability

Half season Jester bar membership

Another innovative idea which should please the fans. Jester membership prior to the game. Good food at a reasonable cost.

Parking

It is recognised there is a need to upgrade the parking. facilities at the club. Parking costs are tied into the green travel plan for the stadium designed to encourage multi occupancy of cars Next season will see parking season tickets available for season ticket holders.

Rugby Union

Paul is working along with Mark Evans to help get the club ethos updated. A great number of plans are underway which hopefully will kick in as soon as the union season is finished. Paul and Mark will be endorsing a number of initiatives and there is a lot of hard work going on in the background between union and league. Both codes want the league to flourish and are helping to do that. There is a lot of strong support behind the scenes.

SKY TV

Plans are underfoot to help get more bums on seats before the next SKY outing

Why don't the club put this info out to everybody rather than a handful on here?

But that's only another handful, what about people who don't look on here or on facebook, how about on the club website and in the match programme? I don't expect you to answer this gutterfax, its more of a question directed at the club.

Just got back from the club it is going on the website and in the programme. However they wanted word out as quickly as possible and thought the forum would have most hits. Programme will not be for a few weeks as we don't have a home game.

I think I see light at the end of a dark tunnel. Can We now win our games at home. Please

Why would we want to win? Winning would only ailienate those punters who want to complain that we don't win or that this that and the next thing are not done correctly.

When I first began to support London RL I accepted defeat gracefully but getting sick and tired of not having a fortress at the stoop We can All call home.

If only it would come true. May be the league should pass a rule that all home teams should be winners. Then let points difference decide who wins the league. That way would all get our wish, nobody would miss out, no one team bigger than the next and so on. May be the next Labour government in 2010 can pass that as law, oh, no they won't be able to because their dream of another term is as fanciful as my Dear Santa letter.
