Skolars put to the sword again away today 70-0. Is there anything Quins rl could do to help our brothers in North london?

Give them lessons in ball handling perhaps ?

I want to see All the clubs south of Brum do well, can only help the Quins rl long term. The skolars seem to have gone backwards rapidly the last couple of months.

The main problem with Skolars is that a large percentage of their team are very young local kids, with basically no experience of RL at the level that Skolars play. Long term, this could work well for them, but this season, I fear is going to be one heavy defeat after the other. The fact that, after just three league games, they've scored an appalling 16 points and conceeded 207 really could make this a seriously embarrassing season for them.

Skolars need all the help they can get, got to say that I feel this problem started when Latham Tawhai went to QRL, they were on the up before and now on the slide. A strong Skolars is good for QRL and vice versa. We are a small RL family in the capital, if QRL can help they should, if asked.

Almost certain Skolars pay rent, it's a council owned facility and I can't see the council giving them it for free as that would open a right can of worms.

It's not good for London RL to see the Skolars like this. Not all the local lads currently playing will make it to Superleague status and Skolars are an important part in the overall picture. It would make sense to assist if it is possible to do so in a manner that doesn't negatively impact the Quins.

Have to say that whilst losing Latham was a blow to Skolars I suspect their current plight has more to do with the changes to work permit legislation as this seems to have impacted them very badly.
