| Thanks, I am going to start on The Rugby League & League Express, how can the cover totally ignore the top points scorers in the table and of course we have played a game less, so i wont mention that only Leeds have conceded less points than The Mighty Quins.
P.S For all those like me who read the forum for ages- get involved no-one bites

er....have you met Listy
When we win the Grand Final and Challenge Cup double and then crush the NRL champs in the WCC, as well as providing 11 of the starting 13 for England, who then go on to hammer everyone in the next world cup....we might get more than 2 minutes on the SL show, 1/4 page in the RL Press and a whole 3 column inches in the Evening Standard....
Gave up on the Press/Media a long time ago......we are the Milwall of the RL fraternity.......No one likes us and we don't care (well, most of us don't care)

| Harry Gration is a kn*b. He wets himself talking about the big clubs. He does it even more if Cas or Wakey do well.
He would much prefer to present the programme wearing a flat hat, scratching himself profusely and have a couple of whippets sat at his feet. Ideally listening to Ray French tell an anecdote about playing on a snow covered pitch.
Give me Clare Balding any day. No bias and a better taste in pullovers.

| Here's one to light the blue touch paper - sadly, media companies pander to their known audience. There's not a lot of us, hence we're not considered giving major coverage to. i.e. very few League Express and the like are sold down here, so why give preference to Quins RL.
Same for Super League show. Not excusing HG, who should be more impartial and spread his love. But it's predominantly watched by northerners. So the coverage ends up being biased.
It's a bit of a vicious circle really - media tends to focus on where it sells, it's easier after all. Hence less exposure for us. Which in turn makes it harder to bring more people to games. Repeat ad nauseum.
Until we get more expansionists in the press, we're a bit stuffed. Bill and Phil on Sky seem better balanced individuals. I enjoy their blogs as they seem to think outside of the box.
All of which makes the online Mirror mistake all the more odd. They are official partners with RL (they know they will get sales spikes in the M62 corridor when they run things like the excellent supplement) - so they should know better....but again, no surprise it's Quins they make the mistake with....

| Its right that the SL show is mainly aimed at northerners so there teams get most of the limelight, watch it when we play catalans dragons and they barely show one try.
It'd be nice if BBC London News, or London Tonight/London Today on ITV gave us some more coverage but hey ho.
Just watched boots N all online and to give them credit, they gave Quins a lot of praise, after mentioning Warrington were terrible, they applauded Brian Mac and our pack for playing so well. Barry McDermott especially praised us, saying that Brian Mac is delivering on his pre-season promises.
One other thing Barry Mac mentioned that was interesting was that Chad Randall offered to give back his wages after the Wigan game because of his mistake. Anyone else heard this as well? or is it just him exagerating a point.

the story was lifted straight off the wire and whoever uploaded it to the web made an error, hardly an example of systemic bias.
if anything it just shows how far league has to go to raise its profile.
