Quote ="Bronco1979"Hi all
My family organised a surprise birthday present for my mum at the Wire game yesterday. We hired a box and managed to keep the whole thing a secret until the day.
My mum and I were met at the turnstyle by Buck and Dusty with a card and balloons, amusingly she thought this was because they knew it was her birthday because we’re season ticket holders and didn’t know the rest of our family were down from the north until we’d sat down in our usual seats.
The people who organised everything from the club’s end did an excellent job, we got everything we asked for, we even got specific players to give her a signed shirt after the match (Louie claimed they’d fixed the scoreline especially).
Most of our family, although living in Yorkshire and Lancashire, had never really seen RL before, we couldn’t have got a better first time experience if we’d tried. Tony Clubb’s tackle near the end was quite a talking point after the match.
In short, just wanted to let everyone on here know Quins did us proud yesterday, in every possible way.
Cheers
Simon'"
Glad it all went well.
This is another example of the club moving in the right direction and getting it right.
