Does anyone have any news on the Wire player that went to hospital?

Halfway through the main game the Warrington reserves were walking back all changed apart from one who seemed to be getting asked a lot of things by people so i am assuming he was the player stretchered off.

He seemed to be okay but was still in his playing kit.

Chris Bridges was the difference to be honest. At the time I thought he was unlucky not to be in the first team but subsequent events suggests he may have been rather lucky not to be.

Hopefully the lad walking around in his kit (no. 16 from memory) was the lad injured. He was certainly moving his hands at one point whilst flat out but the amount of time taken to put him on stretcher was worrying to put it mildly.

at least our reserves can play as a team and dont give up , should put them out next week

I think he came back...the wire reserves were sat in front of me and about 30 mins into the game a player turned up still in his kit and looking a bit groggy. Take it he was the guy who was carried off earlier....

I was speaking to the lads Mum in the bar after the main match..she said he had concussion and was taken to West Middx Hospital and was seemed fine after about 3/4 of an hour of treatment..

I only saw the last twenty minutes or so, but it was good to see Mick Nanyn kick two superb conversions, one from each touchline.

We were six points adrift with a few minutes left when Bridges dropped a goal; our final try and conversion came right on the hooter.

Those kicks were very impressive. It seemed to spur Danny on in the SL game too.
