| I have to admit when Mac stated Quins would be going out to win SL and not just make up the numbers i did have a little chuckle, but it seems he's got the players in the right frame of mind and good to luck to him.
Well done today.

| Stuck 6000 miles away in Peru. Gutted to miss such a great home performance. I missed Wakefield in the SNOW and now this. BL**DY HELL!!!!
I get the feeling the team was on fire, or were Wire dire?
Don't burst my bubble and tell me the Wire where cr*p. Over to Lister to put a downer on it for me --
Was there a good turn out?

Yeah, and we still won by 52!
I thought Wire were terrible, we were awesome in attack, but our kicking was sometimes poor, and our back 3 looked very shaky fielding wire's attacking kicks. But otherwise faultless, goal line defence was v good and.... well everything else was top draw.

| It was a mixture of Warrington being p*** poor (esp in defence) and our attack being absolutely magnificent.
Danny Orr was a magician, Will Sharp had some storming runs, what a huge hit by Clubby which eventually led to the Chris Melling length of the field try. Just magnificent.

| Micky Higham was the only Wire player to have even a half-decent game. It wasn't just the defence that was bad, the passing and handling was just awful.
I thought the ref seemed to take pity on them with some knock ons and forward passes, yet there was that call on the winger carrying the kick-off into touch after their second try. It was 12-8 then, and we scored from the next set, but it might have been them attacking from the half-way penalty and going ahead. Couldn't see the line behind the ad board so can't judge the call, but who knows, might have turned out totally different.

| Well done Quins for filling your boots against the worst SL team to play in the capital since Worky in 1996! I thought they were worse than Salford last week, at least they made us work in the second half. I thought Orr was top man, followed by Randall and Sharpy. The pack were good too.
We will have a lot more stiffer tests this season, starting at Hudds next week, but we have laid down a marker and no one will underate us now.
Thought Gale enjoyed himself and Kaye will have to wait to get back in the side. Truth is we didn't really get going until well into the first half but you can only beat what is in from of you. We must not get carried away but a top six place is surely within the grasp of this side, some of whom will only get better. Hats off to Brian for his belief in the side. I wonder what we will do to sides when Purdo, Haggs and Williamson are back?

Honestly, i dont mind if he comes back soon, or not. Clubb is working wonders in 2ndrow//wing. And BigJoe is going 80 minutes a game at 2nd row. This is good, maybe Joes trying to cement his first team place by playing as hard as he can before Williamson comes back?
Will Wells play next week? Yes he hurt his ankle in the first half, and played the second, but it was in a brace after the game, and was limping. So maybe Melling will move to FB now??

| Lets not get too carried away here. You can tell the people who've posted in this thread who didn't actually see the game.
First of all, the ref. Was once again impressed. He lets the game flow, doesn't constantly penalise for 'technical' penalties and afforded a bit of leniency to both sides. I've got no problem with him and hope he continues.
Secondly, Warrington. Quite simply, they were catastrophically bad. Apart from saying that I really find it hard to put into words just how bad they were. Their line defence all game was just appalling, in the second half as soon as they got near the tryline they coughed up possession. Did anyone actually notice Michael Monaghan during the game? Tony Smith has a massive job trying to whip that lot into shape. All that money spent, all that sky hype and they're just awful.
As for us, we were pretty ruthless. We quite clearly realised early on we were playing a bad side and we were noticeably more relaxed and confident in our play than against Wigan. I was fearful we'd let Warrington end their run but I needn't have worried. As mentioned by others, Danny Orr was sensational - play like that more often! Big raps for Randall, Sharp and Robinson who I thought worked his socks off. Oh, and that hit from Clubb - OOOF! We could hear the crunch from 20 yards away!

Monaghan went off around 30 minutes iirc.
Anyone else watch how Louie celebrated Mellings try with Clubb??
After Clubb's hit, and then the try, Louie had a huge smile on his face, and pointed a Tony, who he then ran up to, and jumped on.
It was quite amazing.

| ... and I couldn't be there.
Enjoyed the commentary by Rammo and his "sidekick" though. Even know sidekick's name now. Thought Rammo referred to him as Stevo for a horrible moment, but now I know, it's Steve Owen.
Brilliant to listen to anyway. Thanks to both of them.
And there was 4-1 and 3-1 today as well.

| Cracking quins performance. Clubbs hit was huge, the noise from where we were sat was amazing and certainly speared Melling on for the full length try. I saw Louie celebrate with Clubb and rightly so.
Was Monaghan on the pitch at all? Was any of their big names there? If I'd have been a wire fan I'd have been mighty p****d at their teams performance. TS should have made them travel back on the fans coach!
Danny Orr man of the match for me.

| I agree with the penguin:
Alibert was good again today. Lets the game flow.
We even had evenly balanced linesman. One fat one skinny

Had quite a good view of it. After catching the ball the player took a small step backwards just enough to cross the line. Thought the linesman got it right. If player had left it they might just have got a penalty for out on the full.

| That must be our biggest Superleague score since the final season at Brentford, when Wakey, Widnes and Leigh all took a pasting.
Terrific Quins performance, although Wire were truly dire! Considering how many big name internationals they've got that was the worst shambles I think I've ever seen from any team at this level. Of course we still had to put them under enough pressure to make them crack, which we didn't do against an equally poor Wigan side in the first half two weeks back. We should have had thirty points in the first half of the Wigan game, and if we'd achieved that I can't help wondering whether we'd have gone on to pulverise them too.

| been watching Wire for 20 years now and that was THE worst performance i have ever seen
It had so many handling errors, missed tackles ill discipline that i was almost in a state of shock.
Briers, both Andersons, Rauhihi, Monaghan, King, Clarke, Johnson, Gleeson all need to go
