That didnt come as any surprise to me. The whole of SL could come down with the same virus thats affecting Heston Blumanthal's Restaurant and your still not get a Quins player in it

I remember a few seasons back that Marty had ran more metres and ade more tackles as well as scoring a few trys in between then any FB that month and still didnt make player or Squad of the month.

As for my player it has to be Chad Randall (yes even with that pass). IMO i feel he's bossed and lead the team round the pitch. Was a close thing between him and Orr

well....they are pretty awful. We shouldn't be getting heaps of praise for beating them. If Brian Mac is serious about 'winning super league' then beating Salford ought to be routine.

If you listen again (and I may be wrong) the remark was more about Wigan than us

It was along the lines of Wigan are a ggod team and they got a result last week against a good quins team....make no mistake, quins away is not an easy game"....

If you going to talk of coverage. did anyone see Martin Offiah on Sky sports news last night. When a man who has been in the media spotlight as long as he has,why does he find it hard to string two words together, as for him talking about our game, a quick look at one try and then calls us London Broncos.

I bet Sky News wish TR hadnt gone down to Aus at least he gave a proper sumary. I always felt the sports news reporter were listening to what he had to say unlike Martin Offiah.

Agree, plus WTF was Offiah wearing?

its a shame because he could be such a marketable asset to the game, as he's universally admired across the two codes

I enjoy reading that magazine though, as it truely covers RL in every corner of the world that it has reached. Just a shame also that Gary Schofield writes in their.

I cancelled my order of the monthly magazine last year after the many attacks on QUINS RL from Schofield and had a debate with the editor/owner

I have to say that I'm beginning to find myself in agreement with some of what Schofield says. This month he takes issue with Brian Noble's suggestion that signing RU players shouldn't count on the salary cap, and he's also rubbished the often quoted line that Aussie RL is boring - and before reading the article I'd been saying pretty much the same thing on both issues.

The only thing I have to decide is whether I'm becoming more like him or the other way around. If it's the former, I'd better throw away my Quins season ticket - if it's the latter, he'd better throw away his comb!

My dad was a Quins RU fan and a Fulham FC fan. He was also an ardent RL fan since the begining of Fulham RL. Before his death I remember him saying that Quins RU and Wasps RU would not take Offiah. They viewed him at Rosslyn Park RU (which was only around the corner from where we lived on Upper Richmond Road) and thought he was lazy. However, I suppose he proved them wrong in the long run. But I don't think he was universally admired (?). RU did not think he worked for the Team???

After getting home from the Wigan game on Sunday I watched the Sky broadcast and thought his comments, in part, were anti Quins RL. Maybe he is biased towards Wigan (or still smarting that he was never taken up by Quins).

Classic case of a retired player getting a cushy job on the irrelevant strength of his playing reputation. Every time I've heard him he sounds as if he's just had a microphone unexpectedly thrust under his nose without any prior warning. Hopeless as a broadcaster/pundit.

They need someone London-based for the Sunday evening show. Hence TR previously. Since Offiah started doing it, I haven't bothered watching, having seen his efforts during the RLWC.

He's all posh suits and no idea! Never has been able to speak and was always a selfish player. After he scored for us in the final to get his 100 tries he just about gave up.
Chris Warren could do a far better job, unbiased, informed but sadly, on the other side!!!!
