| Hi as the programme did not mention a number of initiatives from the volunteers I will put them on here so you can bring along your money and credit cards on Saturday. Just think how good it will feel to have lighter pockets and wallets and not have to drag the weight around.
Raffle tickets will be sold in the home and away ends 5 for £1 and the prize will be 50% of the cash collected. The winning number will be paraded on a board at half time.
Try sponsorship this is back by popular demand and will be sold at each game. Forms will be on the table for everyone to read about exactly what is involved but basic form is if you sign up you can choose option one to pay £1 for every home try scored during the season (last year there were 58 tries at home to give you an idea of the amount you will pay out). Option 2 is to sponsor your favourite player’s tries for the season. This comes in varying amounts per try ranging from £3 per try to £10 per try depending on player. Of course you can dedicate as much money as you want and the volunteers will happily relieve you of your cash with a smile on their faces. If you want to go for both options all the better. You will be sent your payment contribution (sounds nicer than demand) twice a season. This should prevent any massive payouts by fans.
£30 Kids Player Sponsorship- as the above - demand has seen this re-instated. Here a parent completes a form at the desk for a child to sponsor a player for £30. The player will then personalise the photo with to ‘Paul from Rob thanks for sponsoring me’ or words to that effect and the child will collect from the desk at the following game. There is also player data to the side of the photo. All child sponsors will have their name on the website. There is no limit to the amount of players you can sponsor at £30 per time and there is no limit to the amount of sponsors a player can have.

could we tempt you out of semi-retirement to become our CEO? Proactive wasn't on the job description, but maybe it should have been
You could be the Karen Brady of Superleague

| Received a letter from Barry Underwood about the try sponsorship today. From what I can remember of last time I did it, I gave a sympathy sponsorship to a player nobody else had picked. They were right of course. I had my name in every programme and the total cost was nil.

But I am of course happy if you'd like to give it another go. It would be nice to repeat the sort of support we got previously for Try Sponsorship (approx 3k pa). I'll put all of the details on here tomorrow evening to encourage the support of fellow Forum members. As you see from the post above it might not be too expensive!

| Kenda - will need more of your forms because all these people are going to have a bash at spending their money on your try scoring earner. Hope they don't all choose players who don't score
Did I hand you two forms yesterday?

I'll bring more on Saturday. You gave me just the one form before the game - a print out from the programme.

| Well done Alison and Barry in getting what were tried and tested fund raisers back on the agenda again, means supporters can again start to feel as if they are really assisting the club...................nothing like reinventing the wheel eh?
Shame the Fiddler and his sidekick cannot reprise their raffle ticket selling days though

| I agree Barry has worked hard with this one, he has done all the putting together us volunteers are just selling them. Funnily enough last night we were talking about you and the other half of the duo selling the raffle tickets and then being joined by paddock punter, was worse than any horror movie but you 4 got great results. Maybe people were afraid to pass you lot by can't think why
