Just got back:

Good points:

- very easy for me to get to by car!
- nice little ground, more suited to Broncos modest support
- the kids played with commitment and in the first half at least seemed to have alot of team spirit
- handy for away teams and supporters

Bad points:

- shambolic organistion outside the ground and to get tokens to get out of car park
- too many unnecessary stewards
- unless / until team gets reinforcements from Australia then despite gret effort they are not simply good enough to compete with any other team in the league
- Gareth Hock's predictable immaturity.
- Salford (albeit with a few of their big guns missing) looked poor.
- patethic attendance. Maybe Saturday's just won't work (better for me though!)?

Apologetic bull......300 or so from Salford with the same again from Barnet......we will hit sub 1k this year.

If you shipped in 44 points against a Salford side playing poorly I can't imagine what the score would be against us when we gel and hit the straps.

The club has no professional future

That's what I thought today. That crowd for the first home game of the season was shocking. Can't see many first timers going back.

The stewarding and police bill must have equivalent to the gate proceeds. Why were the floodlights put on when it was light? Money to burn?

You bleat about crowd numbers yet encourage people to stay away, what paradoxical world are you living in, the idea should be accept the ty situation for what it is, encourage people to turn up and then you might actually see sponsors interested, players seeing a full stadium and wanting to play for London.

1. I have never encouraged anyone to stay away and no matter how many times some of you post it, it won't make it so. The implication that I could influence anyone to do anything by posting on a forum is quite laughable really, but it obviously eases some of your more furrowed bows believing that my posts in some way contributed to the record low crowd at the Hive.
2. I have most assuredly never suggested that anyone accept the current situation either. Not sure why you think my absolutely saying that we should [unot [/uaccept the current situation is actually saying stay away, but the reality is, that turning up and applauding 1.80 coffees and pleasant bar staff is ACCEPTING what you have.......
3. Gus wants what to improve?

He is responsible for what we have and where we are yet your comment comes across as "cut the guy some slack"...well him. I am sorry, but he is incapable and deserves to never work in sports administration again.

What you won't be so stunned to learn is that the clown in charge isn't delivering after 37 months and 40 "home games" he has, with each step, made mistake after gaffe after error. Because I don't "cut him some slack" you reckon it is my desire to say, "I told you so" that drives my posts.....you really are incapable of anything other than blind devotion aren't you


5. There was a parade for me to rain on? When was it? Was there an email about it? Did the club invite everyone, or was it just the "chosen few" who will nod like approving sheep? 108 points shipped in 160 minutes against a mid table outfit and a team that will just steer clear of the drop is not a parade.
6. In your earlier attempt to glean positivity from today, you said the Hive was suited to our size of crowds. That is acceptance of failure on your part. Because the owner and CEO are prepared to accept failure, it doesn't follow that fans should also accept it. The idea of a smaller ground being GOOD is farcical......but because your buddy who needs to be cut some slack couldn't add to crowds at the stoop (he actually cut them by 40%) he's moved us to a ground that makes him (and you apparently) feel better about the crowds. Only Catalans last year has attracted fewer fans to a London SL home game in 231 events. Go on, put some positive spin on that!
7. My attitude? Your saying I want to destroy the club shows how out of touch you are. I don't need the club to fall any further for me to be able to say I said was coming. I want the club to thrive, but for that to happen, HE HAS TO GO! It's not the club, it's the poison running it that is killing it!

Not standing up at a forum and saying "we'll try harder" but actually TRYING HARDER. Spend some money, hire professionals and if we are going to die as a Professional entity, then at least die trying....what a few on here are suggesting is akin to euthanasia
