When have we tried to find a supporter base in TW2? Please...if we fail to attract crowds it is for 1 reason only.......and I am still of this belief nearly 5 years after we moved to Twickenham......nobody knows we exist.
The club have again failed to market the game or the matchday event......they have stumbled around EXPECTING PEOPLE TO JUST ROLL UP........and when they haven't, they have just given up. I understand there is a 2 page article in one of the RL papers with the marketing bod at Quins....and I am currently trying to get a copy sent over, but I can pretty much gues that it's a couple of pages "boo hoo....it's the toughest job in sports marketing"......so what? If it was easy, they would have had 1000's of applicants.......what is the use of telling the RL community that we have trouble attracting fans when we haven't tried to attract fans locally?
Kids = Development
Amateurs = Development
Neither = fans

For as long as I have followed the club, there has been an attitude that people will turn up eventually....well I am sorry, but if you want them to turn up, it would help to INVITE THEM FIRST.

Follow the club to MK? Don't think so squire, that's the end as far as I'm concerned. Looks like 30 years after Fulham RL started that top level RL could be about to come to an end in the capital. Shame.

I wouldn't panic, the only source for this "rumour" appears to be internet message boards.

There's no way I could get to Milton Keynes, the time it would take to travel there every other week would just be ridiculous. If it happened, it'd be the end of my association with the club. Surely any move to MK Dons ground would see us pay rent there as well?

It's not a total wind up. I've good reason to believe the club has at the very least given consideration to playing the Warrington match "on the road" at Milton Keynes, as I explained earlier. Hopefully the speculation about a permanent move to MK is no more than hypothesis. I hope that doesn't happen though and think it would make more sense to follow up the recent Friday match with Bradford by playing this game on the Friday too. (At The Stoop!)

If we were to move to Milton Keynes, would we then be able to sign as many Aussies as we like (e.g. Wrexham) as a club in a new `expansion` area???
