The club have had an awful long time to sort out a squad that can challenge for SL but seemingly haven't taken that opportunity instead focussing on yet another ground move.

Right now I am torn about renewing the season tickets we have (3) considering both location and squad... Which is a shame as we have been ST holders since 2001. We will probably attend some games, but not sure will go for a full ST, as tbh I am not worried about getting a good seat with 750 supporters in a 5K stadium, so will have lots of room.

Trailfinders was different as we actually filled the seating area in the grandstand pretty much every game, I can see a PL only one or two stands open, and fans split between both teams, leading to not much atmosphere....

For the first time in a long time, I'm actually finding I'm not missing the Sundays or the RL, I'm pretty much a london / england fan, I don't care about any other team (apart maybe from Scholars), and don't bother to watch any SL games on sky... so we will see how things go before making up mind on a season ticket for 2021 (assuming we even have them)...

I am finding it tough to get excited for this season. The squad lacks the depth and quality to challenge imho. Our pack was understrength and underpowered last season, without sounding unkind, it is in worse shape this season. I am surprised we have not added some beef up front. Im not too worried fans are not able to attend, I am in no rush!!!

On the one hand the club is supposedly very ambitious for a return to SL and is moving ground to enable that and on the other we have a squad with obvious gaps in depth and quality. These things don't really add up to form a coherent plan.

we don't have a get to SL squad, we have a "hope we can pinch a place in the playoffs, and see what happens at that point squad". I'm afraid that type of squad is not going to attact the punters the club seem to think it will get.

i would not be surprised if the plan is to just try to muddy along in lower playoff places, then bring in a couple of SL loan players to push in the playoffs with a larger and better squad, but I don't think current squad is enough to even hit 5th or 6th once we get injuries (as we will)
