| Happy if we can keep Kuafusi off the pitch precautionary, he did stay on the bike all the time he was off so looks like they could have brought him back on if they needed and not needed!!!
good result
Still dont think we look like a top eight team, 5 runs straight up the middle from first reciever, then kick, nothing wide
Dont know why they didnt batter Chase a bit more, he got a wee bit upset when he got hit hard, we could have got a few penalties off him

| 2380 was the declared crowd.
I thought Cas were poor today but you can only beat what is in front of you and I can't fault the players for effort. Nothing to scare the top teams from us today perhaps but certainly a big improvement on recent games and fair play to them for that. David Howell was a revelation today, more of the same please David.

| Quote: tw15 "Cas were black and blue after playing the Black and Blues.
Cas were out on their feet in the final quarter - maybe four off injured.
Sarginson (and the forwards) played well. No mistakes from Dorn. Chase was the best player for Cas. Ref didn't do the Broncos any favours. Crowd was 2900-ish, but it looked thin.'"
Remember absent ST holders are counted in. Hopefully we don't get battered away from home next week and the fans come back.
Maybe we should rest Kaufusi against the pies to make sure we take the points off Widnes and have a chance against Wakey

| I thought Cas would struggle without Danny Orr in the second half but his replacement, P Bentham did his best for Cas but it want quite good enough.

| Goes without saying that today was *much* better than Salford. Still a bit weak in defence but showed much more fizz in attack. Great game to watch and thought atmosphere was ok given the low crowd.

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

| It was a good game all round, we started off well but credit Castleford the way they came back, but in the end we had the right mentality something we have lacked, once Cas started with injuries we made them suffer.
Michael Witt at last started to show the talent we know he has!
Okay it is only one win, but we needed it badly & hopefully that can lift the players moral.

16679.jpg Well f**k my hat, I didn't know that!
Come all without, come all within, we're London Broncos not the H********s!:16679.jpg |

| Great to get the first win today, but let's not kid ourselves we played against a terrible Cas side, truly I'm hard pressed to remember as poor an SL opposition for some time. On the plus side it should help the players' confidence and it was good to see Dan Sarginson and Tony Clubb in good form. Also that we were able to win with Kafusi off the pitch for most of the game. First half our defence was woeful, much tighter in the second - we'll need to defend like in the second if we want to win a few more! Still plenty of work to be done but maybe , just maybe there's some hope we'll get a few more wins on the board!
Off to sink a few more celebratory ciders! C'mon London!!!

| Everyone just has to keep a grip on reality. Next week is likely to be a thumping. The week after that Broncos should put Widnes to the sword.
After 5 games, my early optimism has been tempered. This remains a bottom-five side. Better than last year, and should be vying for 9th or 10th place as the best of the bottom five above Wakey, Cas, Widnes and Salford. But very difficult to see where any other wins will come from apart from the occasional shock against an off-form better side.
The forwards are ok. They could match all bottom and most mid-table sides. But the threequarters are very weak, and while Gower shows flashes of why he was the Kangaroo half, but there's nothing else there to worry most sides.

| Can't agree that we going to be a "bottom 5 side" again. It was just like we may have gelled together as a team at last today; so for at least this weekend I will only see the positives on us tonking them. I won't even start wingeing about how one sided Bentham was against us an so many occasions today...
