simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| I totally agree with you, Kenda.
Why is it that we can't just savour the much needed win?
I am beginning to find these boards a right turn-off because of the OTT doom and gloom.
Christ, I bet David Hughes wonders why he bothers forking out all this dosh to keep our club going.
Anyway, well done Quins - onwards and upwards!

16679.jpg Well f**k my hat, I didn't know that!
Come all without, come all within, we're London Broncos not the H********s!:16679.jpg |

| It was a win! Not a great one but a win nevertheless. Catalans were poor without Bosc, made more errors than us but the crucial thing was the timing of the 2nd (just before the break) and 3 rd tries. Excellent hat trick from Will, shame there weren't many folk there to see it. Was at the last win too - but hope it won't be such a long wait for the next! Haven't left the Stoop that happy for a long time!

| Sharp's catch and try was something else, I never thought he make that.
I also never thought I'd see Greenshield drop a high ball or David Howell be held up one on one - and they both happened.
I thought we played well, support play was excellent, and we didn't let the Catalans get quick plays. Gale played much better mixing up kicking, passing and running and looked good.
BJB has some skills, I actually can't believe he didn't get game time ahead of Lee Smith, and I'm not sure McClennan won't be offering Brent Webb as a swap at this rate.

| Quote: Kenda "I also agree with Rooster. It's amazing the amount of negativity that gets posted on here, and equally amazing how many negative posts there are re the Catalans game from people who weren't there!
Of course we have to improve in a number of areas but this was a decent performance, and a good win, against a side with some very good players. We also had some young London lads in Bolger and O'Callaghan who played very well indeed, and promise a great deal for the future.
In addition a look at the profiles of this years Academy squad in the matchday programme should lift the hearts of all Quins fans, as there are some very good lads not far away from the first team.
What is it about the British that we want to see the problems in everything. Of course we need bigger gates, and yes of course we'd like a star signing, but a bit more positivity on here would on occasions go down a treat.'"
Agree there are postives but we've just won our first home game in 8 months so lets not get too carried away

Then again, we've only lost one home game in the last five months.

D'uh - Target Bell on the wing and lack of speed due to Walters not playing Bently (so no quick ball). I'd make some bantery comment about Ferriol bringing back the Biff, but I hear there was a proper injury.

Happiness is like peeing in your pants. Everyone else can see it but only you can feel the warmth!: |
|
| I for one am very happy. We have not gone for the easy route and got an Aussie even though we are the wooden spoon team. We are promoting our youngsters. I think we are very lucky to have so much more then a normal Super League coach, instead we have a coach who is using the fact that noone gets relegated and has the balls to blood youngsters! Bodes well for the future, and we do have a future. I am in Perth, and I feel from here eben I know we have a future.

| First opportunity to post my two penn'oth on the Catalans match as I went on holiday straight after the game.
Ben Bolger was eye catching, very impressed with him. I thought Oliver Wilkes had a sound game as well. Good to see Willie in fine form. The second try was just staggering, absolutely fantastic. A bit different from his showing in the home game v Cats last season! Still can't quite work out Brian Mac's "Will is a cat" quote. Still, we needed the win.
