Well theres a choice. More chance of winning something. More of a RL city. Cheaper beer. Cheaper standard of living. Cleaner streets. Less crime. Cleaner air. More grass and trees.

"The local economy and unemployment
Hull’s economy is dominated by low wages, high unemployment and inactivity rates and, for those in employment, low value/low paid professions. Hull is the 9th most deprived of 354 English Districts (by average of ward scores). Almost half of the people in Hull live in electoral wards that are amongst the 105 most deprived wards in the country."

Good comeback,
Back on topic, have heard some good reports about him, hopfully I will get the chance to see him play soon.
If he is at Hull Uni I would guess that he will be here for three years, so wouldnt it be worth you releasing him to us?
You might get a chance to see him in action this weekend as our reserves are playing each other.

I see your cold hard FACTS and raise you even colder harder FACTS:
1. Your facts are out of date as newer figures were released in 2007.
2. Kingston upon Hull does not make the top ten most deprived districts any more.
3. Point 2 notwithstanding, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Islington are all more deprived than Hull regardless of which set of figures you use, and that Newham has now also made the top ten.
Taken from [url=http://society.guardian.co.uk/issues/page/0,,2276375,00.htmlHERE[/url. (Could not find a full list, just the top ten.)

| I will come back on all that has been mentioned from my post.
1) Used to live in Richmond (Surrey) for 6 years. Very nice it was to. But as a resident I was at pains to add it was not London.
2) Prior to that I lived in Putney which is London and very nice it was to.
3) Prior to that I lived in Lewisham. Very close to where you lot played ( Crystal Palace / Charlton) Sh1t 4ole sums that area up.
Before moving down south I lived in Beverley. Not classed as Hull but probably closer to central Hull than Twickenham.
I was being a bit tongue in cheek before, but I feel that having lived in both areas and now working in Westminster I can comment on where I would rather live. I can assure you it would have a HU post code and not a London one.
People slag off Hull and yet they have never lived there. Most probably have never been. Its not until you live in an area that you can really comment. I would suggest that there are many more happy and contented people in the Hull area then in London.
Anyway back to Saturday. I will be enjoying a day at SYON Park and then onto Richmond Park with the family as I miss thoughs areas and then I will be off to your state of the art ground to see a rare Hull victory in Surrey.

Hmm. You say Hull, yet your search is for "Kingston upon Hull" and only matches sites that use the full name. Such deception and trickery may work in London but not on me. Tut, tut.

Quite. Although having lived in both places I like both. They each have their own attractions and advantages.
But then it was Dave Lister who turned this into a Hull vs London thread, so I hope everyone else is as disappointed with themselves as I am that we fell into his trap.
Michael.

I base it on having lived there in the early 90s. My opinion simple as. Which makes my point about people slagging Hull off. They invariably have not lived there or even been there, yet feel that they can slag it off because of some poxey surrvey in a magazine. Beverley was recently voted the best place in the country to live. Its good but is it better than anywhere else.
Finally this thing about cod. Hull folk don't eat cod. Southerners do for my experience.
Anyway I love Hull and I love London. Both have rough parts, imo. I.E East Hull and Lewisham

Whatever you say, cod head.
