| Dom finally got sick of having to rearrange the deckchairs and threw himself overboard. The sad part is he is very happy away from the black hole and improving his golf handicap. Promise to drag him with me to the Wigan game even if it's kicking and screaming. Also hoping to bring along another ex grafter Nigel Waters and if plans can fall into place, maybe even a certain ex CEO if we can get him out of the desert. Maybe Mr Bailey should look to re-recruiting staff that gave it their everything for the club.

Nigel Waters. Now there's a name. Nudenut. You do realise you'll tip the attendance figures upside down with your mates going and all that.

| Just wanting to give Gutters some positive figures for a change. More thananything will give us a chance to abuse our good friend Steve Magee from the sidelines. This revenge is well and truly cold so could be brilliant.

Can you ask him why he goes into "panini football card pose" when we are taking a kick at goal?

| Welcome Phil. Wondered why I'd seen him around for the last few weeks.
Any extra bodies on board this Titanic of a rugby league club are welcome. However, how on earth he will manage to attract any players here I do not know (although we usually manage it). We will never sign quality Northern players though (Danny Orr was probably our last) we all always have young'uns with something to prove or old'uns on their way out, sadly.

Hope they can get Robertson to re-sign though i doubt it. If they can also pick up a really good Centre and - and if they won't play Dixon at FB - A decent FB then we could have a decent season. I doubt that apart from Sargy and Dixon that any of our yoof are quite ready for full time SL yet though I hope some will prove they are upto it by the end of next season.

| Snoopy - will be a miracle if we can keep Robbo now he knows the depth and standard of our team.
As you know, we will be lucky to hang on to any of our decent young'uns while we have got the issue of no investment in the club after 2014.

With a decent coach and some good recruitment by Bailey (Keep Powell away from this ) in the area we all know where the problems are, we can get into the playoffs in 2013. We have a lot of good players and some good youngsters who are getting better.
DH also needs to have a word about the fixtures next season to ensure we can get some early points and a decent start.

| You're right about the fixtures, Snoopy. We all know we've got to play all the big teams but you would have thought they might have come up with a slightly easier run of fixtures for what is practically a new team (think we may have had a hand in getting Sts first up which we fans knew was a mistake!).
I still can't get my head around how we made such a promising start against Saints and have petered out to where we are now. Thing is, we've got reasons now for losing matches as we are without so many of our first choice players, but we had no excuses for how shocking we were against Salford, Widnes etc. This is what pains me. TBH, I can't see us in the play-offs anytime soon and it hurts me to say that, believe you me.

| What's Bailey's track record? Is he going to be in charge of contract negotiations? How will that go with his brother being on the staff?
Are there any other family members we'd like to bring on board? Chris Melling's had a kid hasn't he, let's see if he would like to become our new office manager. Perhaps next week Luke Dorn's wife will be the new attack coach.
Am I the only one left baffled by this?
