Actually I meant about midnight (doh). And I am a SE Londoner (at least I live there - I'm really a Man of Kent).

| I really hope this works even though, if it does, and Friday nights become the standard from next season, I won't be there. It's worked in the distant past, maybe it can work now.
Well done to the club for giving it a go. Bradford, with their poor in numbers away support, are a good choice.

H.G. Bissinger may consider it a bit cheeky for any British rugby league team to borrow the title of his best selling book about Permian Panthers American Football team (first published 1990). Given that it's been a huge seller and both the film and TV shows made of the back of it have aired in Britain it's hardly unknown around here. (Incidentally if you haven't read the book I'd highly recommend it and I have absolutely no interest in American football, it's probably the best sports book I have ever read.)
I couldn't make it last night as I was taken ill during the day, how did it go off the pitch? I'll declare an interest, as a decade plus long season ticket holder any move to Friday as a regular night would probably see me switch to an occasional fan.

How is it cheeky ? The OP used the term to describe the thread. Quins weren't calling it Friday Night Lights, they were marketing it as "Big Night Live"
As already mentioned the term was originally used by the author of the book of the same name and therefore Skolars have no claim to copyright! nearly every single college football team in the USA advertise their regular games as Friday Night Lights and have done so long before Skolars started using it.

| Nicked from the Skolars As far as I knew it was a film about Yankball! It took me 2 hrs to get from Harpenden to Twickers after work so dont want it every week, but I enjoyed the evening kick off.

Nice place.......St Dominics Primary School was responsible for the formative years of Gutterfax....BTW, Train to West Hampstead, then on to twickenham via Richmond should normally only take about 1 hr 10 minutes........

M25 was described by one reporter as the "worst she had ever seen it". Took me 2.5 hours to get there after going via Chessington/Hampton Court Flower Show/KFC (insert joke here).
