AS HAS BEEN HINTED AT IN A RECENTLY RECEIVED PM......Buck and Dusty were FREEBIES.....NOBODY ELSE TRAVELLED FREE OF CHARGE.
Everyone else paid for the coach.
FFS......The implication that I didn't pay (or anyone else, VOLUNTEER OR OTHERWISE for that matter) is taking the shine of a good trip.
If anyone thinks that by ensuring we get a good coach, with alternative pick ups, the sight of Buck and Dusty running out with the team and a reliable service by putting £3.50 on a fare is taking the mick, can I suggest nationalrail.co.uk or other such sites

Anyone crying about the coach trip to Bridgend is an idiot. I think I can speak for the majority that the fun bus was excellent and seeing Buck and Dusty at the Crusaders' ground was brilliant.

Just a tad touchy at the moment........implying there were 5 freebies including B'n'D simply rattled my cage. The other two people implied as freebies give so much of their time and money to the club that I felt I had to respond.....as it is, they probably deserved to travel free. Oh, they also raised loads of money on the bus by raffling off tickets donated by the club, as well as a signed ball.....and they gave me a pork pie as well!!!!!! |

Take it the other two are us. We paid exactly the same amount of money for our tickets as everyone else did and there was never any question of the fact that we should not pay. The person (or people) who are indicating different should come and speak to me at the volunteer table and I can ask the question of why do they think we are mean enough to expect other people to susidise us. This kind of unfounded and untrue accusation makes my blood boil. This is the type of thing which makes me wonder why I give so much time and effort to the club free of charge. Maybe I should walk away from it all and allow other people to do it instead. Penguin I think you are probably right in your assumption. He was on the coach and in a difficult mood.
