Truth is old boy, the fans who are left are actually very happy at what has happened. They have now got their dream scenario whereby they can clap and cheer no matter what defeat is handed out by yet another part time outfit and nobody will dare ask them why they are happy about being such a woeful team, and best of all, because there are so few spectators left, they all get to shake the hands of the wonderful professionals representing them so ineptly!

They think they are true supporters because of that but actually they killed the club themselves. If they had the guts to call the players and owner out who have caused the current status quo to exist then it could all have been so different but oh no they were too busy berating the likes of you and I for calling a spade a spade and praising themselves for singing so much they needed strepsils.

I've come to that conclusion.

As long as there is some form of rabble to cheer on some far flung field the rump fan base are happy.

Some of them don't even want a future sans Hughes which I find particularly baffling.

Rupe, the actual truth is old boy!, those of us that continue to support the Clun do so because we like the sport. Contrary to yr and others suggestions I don't think anyone actually sings the praises of the owner and of what has happened and where the club has gone. Those of us that applaud are applauding the 17 blokes who take to the park, and no when they have been garbage most don't applaud.

There is also the actual reality of the fact non of us have he resources to step in and take over. Why does cowgirl end up getting berated, simple, read the contributions, we probably could start a thread about the shape of the ball and that would get turned round to dh, it's tiresome and dull.

The only person that has suggested the club should not be in existence is actually cowgirl. Most folk on here are fans of the club, why on earth would we want the club to fold or merge

My bilge as you put it, was no secret, it was why the club for a time consisted of a total of 6 people,nthe owner was withdrawing his support, n one else stepped up dh then obviously changed his decision.

I am understandably disturbed by this thread. However I can effectively ignore it.

It is best to do what I do, read the rubbish, but not reply and give them satisfaction, as the saying goes "Do Not Feed the Animals" that is what they want! to create anger and a reaction, simply not worth it.
