| Given that all the other sides in the Division play on a Sunday, London Broncos are between a rock and a hard place on this one. Play home matches on Saturdays and you are imposing a day less turnaround on yourself after an away Sunday fixture (but if you think about it you'd give yourself an extra days recovery/preparation for the next away game!) and that is one of two reasons given for Sunday fixtures on the club website.
Everyone has their own reasons for preferring one day over the other.
Saturday makes a lot of sense to me for many personal and practical reasons. I will certainly get to a few Sunday games next year, but Car hire or Car ownership will be the only way to get there and back with family as it would not be achieveable using rail on a Sunday.
For the Club, they have to work out their market and who they want to attract to the Hive next year and in the future as they are going to be at this level for the foreseeable future. They clearly need to attract an audience locally or at least from a radius around the London area who have no issues about what day of the weekend they play due to travel.
Go Broncos!!

| All games on sunday barring 28 March (Saturday) v Halifax and 6/4(Monday - Easter?) v Batley. Argument seems to be that all Championship teams play sunday and playing on a Saturday or Friday would disadvantage London?

As we are playing the Friday before at Fev it didn't take a lot of working out.

| So, Sunday at 3pm it is then.
I hope this works for them, because a 5pm finish and quick exit would still mean getting home in the early evening on a school night for many.

| Bit of a Hobson's choice for us. Play Saturday to attract away fans and have one day less recovery, play Sunday and the old problem of it being a school night. I'll cut the club some slack on this one as I think they're damned either way.

| At least its been decided nice and early! Really pleased my other half though as it means I can ref on a sat, go to games on a Sunday, and even do scoot rallies fri sat and get back in time to get to the games on a sunday
Plus I dont have the decision to make of do I do battle with the M1/M5-6 on a Fri night if I wanted to go to Wigan/Leeds/Saints etc. Or do the set off, get stuck on M40 and turn round 3 hours later to head home.
Just have the joy of queues on the way home.
At least its mostly the right side of the pennines! M1/A1 better than M6 most days.
Just have to hope crossrail works do not cause too many hold ups on a Sunday for you guys that use the trains and tubes

| Yep, they are the ones, I know it can be a pain for those that use public transport, but like I say at least it's been decided nice and early, hey if the away fans come down sat night then at least the club can direct em to a hotel that will show any sat night games.
It could be worse, I never really got my head round thus night games, maybe it's a prelude to bringing back the wed night floodlit trophy, now that's a blast from the past.
