| I enjoy the craic with my mates and it is, very occasionally, entertaining (usually when Kieran Dixon gets the ball).
In the time I have been watching we have been blessed with some very talented attacking players who have been a joy to watch - Moran, McLinden, Hill, Dorn, Gower, Sharp (briefly), and now Dixon.

| Quote: markrammond "Watching London Broncos is like having a 'jim and frank'.
When you are enjoying yourself you find Freddie Krueger's glove suddenly appears on your hand.
After the match you try to forget the glove.
But you cannot possibly forget the glove nor avoid the negative and miserable buggers who harp on about Bad Marketing, Bad Results, Bad Gus, Bad players, Low Attendances and Staying at or Leaving the Stoop.
But the best bit of all is just as you would rather be One Armed Bandit to avoid the pain that you go away from home and a Pamela Anderson appears!'"
Er ... OK. Sometimes thoughts shouldn't be said out loud.

Agreed.

You should do motivational speaking. Is your real name Alan Partridge?
That's just about the most cringeworthy post I've ever seen written on these boards

| I was only messing about with my other answer
The thing is that I love Rugby League as a sport, it has everything when there is a close game, action, excitement, enthusiasm, determination and skill.
It is the only sport I really can't look away from.
The London Broncos are a club I admired in the 90s, because I was in the North at Lancaster Uni and I saw them as very much like an American Football team playing out of Mexico, perhaps the only real outsider in the competition.
When I was up at Lancaster we had a game between the old boys and the current students and London Broncos provided a full set of shirts. I was struck by the kindness of the club, and in someway the greatness of the club in the help they had given a bunch of guys several hundred miles away.
Since I moved to the south they have been my club, starting off with a trip from Swindon each week to home games it has now become my club for all games.

At least it was relatively short compared to other Rammond posts so it took less time to scroll past.

| On the other hand, I don't go to games. There's a number of reasons really.
The first really being the distance. It's a two hour journey via public transport. Maybe I wouldn't have any issue if the club were competitive rather than actually successful. If the club were competing with teams but not necessarily winning every game I'm sure the four hour round trip would not bother me. On the other hand, Skolars are only an hour away from home and I've seen far more competitive games there in the last four years than I have at Broncos/Quins.
The cost. It's now £20 to watch the Broncos. As I've already mentioned, the club haven't been competitive for a long while and I personally think the product on offer isn't worth £20.
And finally, the product on offer. I commend you all for going religiously but I do not see the product as attractive to watch. As more of a neutral than an out-and-out Broncos fan I want to see a competitive game between two decent sides, I don't usually feel I'll see that at Broncos.
