London traffic bit strange on a Friday the rush hour seems to start at 2pm and by 6-30 m25 can be very quietish.

I’m fairly ambivalent about Friday games. If it helps pull a larger crowd great, but it has to be done regularly to discover whether that will work. It’s fine for me in the sense that I can get there from work and see the game OK and I’m not missing out on anything else, but it takes me well over an hour to get home and the game won’t finish until gone 9.30, so I’ll just go straight home afterwards. I prefer the afternoon game with a few (or a lot of) pints afterwards. I often do midweek evening football matches and it all seems a bit rushed with less time for socialising. As for the atmosphere of an evening game – it’s going to be broad daylight until well into the second half so I don’t really see that’s going to make a lot of difference.

Yes a tongue in cheek smiley would not have gone amiss to accompany my last post.

Alas i will be wearing a Bulls shirt - Always a sucker for the underdog and i think they will need all the support they can get

I'll be in an all day meeting but at 4pm the "Quins 30yr" shirt goes on and I'll be up there in time for the first game at 5:30

Friday is not a good time for me, I have to travel on the M25/M2 home pick up the kids and then back on the M20/M25. If Friday become the norm then 4 will be missing on a regular basis. Can,t see many coming from Bradford.

From a selfish point of view I have to say I hope it's a failure. The first home game I'm going to misss this year, but due to home circumstances I just can't afford to not be able to get home until nearkt midnight.



I'm sure it's a great idea when nearly all of your support comes from fairly near the ground, as with most teams, but the circs are different in London. It does sometimes feel as if those of us not from west London are rather second class in the club's eyes.

I can't afford to get in before 11 o'clock!
