I will throw summat out there, it's a bit radical but you never know it may work.
Might I suggest the team stop commiting offences then the ref will not have to blow his whistle and penalise them, just a thought.
Ref can only penalise when players don't play within the rules of the game it's pretty simple really

Tend to be with you generally in your support for refs Micky, and I don't have anything specific re Leatherbarrow, but many calls are judgement-based, particularly re stuff around the tackle/ptb. |

Had his best game for us by far last weekend. Before that performance I would've been happy if he never played for us again. He showed on Sunday how good he can be.
As for beating 12 men, we have had plenty of practice playing with 12 or less but can't remember losing any!
Expecting a tough game on Sunday. You lot were superb against Sheffield at Blackpool |

Bronc ref calls move you expect response how quick and what you do depends a lot on what tackled player is doing if they plant a foot and make effort to move and can't penalty, if they do flopping fish impression that's a different thing, defence hand on ball as player regains his feet penalty at least 3 last week were hands on the ball.

Thanks for the info,really looking forward to the game,and to the weekend ,I think the game will be a very tough one definitely one to test Leigh, I've said all season somewhere we will get beat this year, it could be Sunday, but I hope I'm wrong,I take nowt for granted,I'm hoping Jack Hobbs can win the Derby at Epsom on Saturday and give me a good start to the Weekend. |

Charlie, hope you enjoy yr visit to the hive, all in all its not a bad little ground and suits us at the mo, hope you bring a fair few supporters down and make a bit of noise, but not as annoyingly as that bloody drum the bradfurt lot had.
I hope we can overturn the odds and put in a decent performance against you, we have shown we can play rugby at Blackpool if we concentrate on that rather than playing a spoiling tactic as we did last week then it could be a good game

The Leythers are a very noisy lot, but NO drum ,we are a very friendly bunch and will bring a fair amount of Fans to make it a good atmosphere. |
