What moving the away supporters at no cost to the club isn't viable? What planet are you on?

Sorry....what part of this did I misread? I have only ever worried about trouble at a quins/Broncos game once and even then, wouldn't have ever imagined "glass being an issue".
Anyway....point is, we have 1 stand at present....let's just make the most of it and get behind the team!

WRONG .... so far the club has used three stands for the Wigan game and two for the Warrington game.

If you can't see there is potential trouble with glass at any mass support event then you are an idiot. Did you ever imagine a supporter would take their top off set fire to it and throw it? One idiot tried to do that at the Warrington game.

As for saying that its the same people moaning, its an open forum, If people are not happy then let em moan, altho going direct to the club might be the better option.

The East stand is causing problems!!
Home supporters generally dont like it!
away supporters I am sure dont like being shoved at one end of the stand, rather than being able to congregate on the half way line
You cannot see the near touch line
People bringing friends (potential new supporters) are put off as they cannot sit together unless they sit behind the sticks
The sun is always in yr eyes! thats why when i had the opportunity i took a seat over in the West stand

Ok Financially the club have made a decision! BUT it is going to effect people coming to games in the long run.
How many stewards does it take to police the north and south stands? combine the numbers and hey funy old thing then you probably have exactly the same number as last year.

Quick question for gutters, what would you prefer, people to air there views on here and have a good bloody arguement with each other, or stop coming to games?
At least airing our views on here lets the club know what we think

Who died and made you Queen of the Forum ? if you cannot see that the comment about beer, being sold in glasses, in a sports stadium, with sometimes vexed supporters, who may have been on the lash all day,[i could [/icause some H&S issues, and were not directly aimed[i at[/i you, then you need to spend a bit more time away from your 'putor mate............never had you down as Mr Angry the keyboard warrior.

In case you hadn't noticed the South stand has been open anyway but hardly used.

As has been said, this is a perfectly legitimate grievance and one that needs addressing. The club are already opening two, sometimes three stands anyway, so lets properly co-ordinate things so that people can sit together!

Have you tried using the new online ticketing system? It doesn't work properly for me but you can pick your seat. Would be interesting to see how many season ticket holders we actually have from that too.

Seriously, why don't those who resent the East stand experiment just walk up to Mr Hughes and Mr Blanchard in the Jesters? I am sure they will be willing to listen.
Banging off emails is all well and good, but a good old fashioned 1-2-1 is always best when trying to get your point accross.

As for the glass issue, I wasn't saying that it would be a good idea to serve beer in glass, just responding to the comment

Lastly and sorry if I am going over old ground here, but the club need to make ends meet and as such, have taken this current decision on both financial grounds and at the request of the TV company, who give the club £1,200,000+ a year.

I am sure the Club are looking at the Seating arrangements and will make a judgement on the success or failure in good time.

I notice you are STILL swerving the fact that they are already opening 2/3 stands and you are still rattling on about "financial grounds" and "making ends meet".

You are turning into the number 1 club apologist and its quite sad.
