| Be odd to have a fans forum without Hughes. At least it looks like Gazza will tell it as it is.

| Hope the evening goes well & answers a lot if not all the questions we probably all want to know.
I do fear a name change, but having canvassed former members of the Deadcowboy posse, some of which have twitched enough to buy this year's away shirt in memory of 1999, to a man & woman their interest in possibly re- connecting with the club would dissipate if they pursue a 6th name change. As Gazza wants to also re-connect, he should bare that view in mind.
Anyway Curtism, Mr & Mrs Victor & anyone else going, enjoy. I look forward to reading your views on what is said in due course.
Cheers,
DC

| Might just be me, but although everything sounded very positive, there wasn’t a great deal of actual new info gained from tonight’s forum? Nothing more than what we already know? Little mentioned in the way of cold, hard cash or who might be investing any.
Hopefully there’s some opportunities to pick up on, like joining with the AFCW charity bloke who was offering to accommodate Broncos at a number of events in the borough of Merton to raise a bit of awareness of the club in the local community, or of efforts to try and make our match day more of an event with the help of the London RL Foundation.
GH spoke of forming supporter hubs in London and the South East- for my two penn’orth , perhaps they could/ should be formed around our community clubs? Would like us to have strong ties to the likes of Medway, Brixton, St Albans,
Nice that Mike Eccles work getting a great deal of appreciation from those present. He’s probably too modest to admit it but without him we might not have a club at all this season.

| Thanks RfE, it seems the big issues of owners, name, colours etc are a way off. That's a little disappointing as things are dragging on longer than an Eastenders storyline. Still better to get things right I suppose.

| Gary was very positive last night. He has a vision, he has a massive amount of experience to draw on and that can only be good for the club. I think that he may find it harder than he thinks to attract Aussie fans to the club. I hope tat I will be proved wrong on that.
Rome was not built in a day and to be honest he has very little to sell. We are second bottom of the Championship and from the outside things do not appear good., I do believe that he is the right man to have at the helm to revive the club.
Gary was very upfront. He told it as it is. He is very approachable and has time for people.
What I took away from last night was that the culture of the club has change. It is no longer a rich mans toy. If things do not go to plan the toys will not be thrown out of the pram. That to me is very refreshing and gives me hope.

Some might disagree, but our game does need a successful side in London for the profile of the game in this country.

| I went last night too and was quite heartened. Attendance seemed good too about 100 i'd say. Hetherington did do some Yorkshire charm/ blarney but overall I was impressed.
What I can remember/ seemed to be said... - Hetherington now owns the club having taken Hughes shares. I wasn't sure if everyone knew that already. - Hetherington is taking marketing advice from I presume consultants about the Broncos name. He seems ambivalent about it. There was a clear expression from those present to keep Broncos. - he is looking for several investors to put in/ provide skills for us. Noticable lack of details on timescale on this but he seemed optimistic. Hetherington was honest that he does not have the money to run the club long term. - Hetherington keen to build links with fans. This seemed the most positive part of the presentation. Keeping us involved, using us as ambassadors/ volunteers. Rick from the London RL foundation spoke too. There did not appear to be an overly ambitious grand plan and there was a good acknowledgement of the part fans will play. - seems to be a desire to keep playing at Wimbledon - Eccles noted how difficult it has been. Compared to 2014 when it felt like the club was going out of business. - Eccles mentioned 2/3 more players but it wasn't clear if they were coming or if money was present. - Eccles said O'Bierne will be back this weekend, Bienek Tindall the week after.
That seems about it.
