| I will be pleased with the club having an academy again.
All in all what came out today is a step forward. If not a all that we hoped for.

I guess there is a bit of a framework taking us forward. Precious little meat on the bones though as perhaps is understandable. As I've said previously, not keen on another name change unless it's just London RLFC.
Would like to see the back of the black shirts. In 1980 nobody played in all black (other than the ABs) so it looked imposing, but now the whole world & their dog have either a 2nd or third kit that is black. We need something vibrant but I'm assuming if we're getting a new name, we may get new colours.
We wait with bated breath for news of the new ownership group.
I like the black shirts but, just to throw this into the renaming pot, I wouldn’t go with London Blackshirts.

| Trying to unpick the substance from the froth is a little tricky but this is clearly a positive. We have some grown ups involved and they’ll give it their best shot. I do think we are in some danger of sliding into L1 with current small squad so some speculation in the immediate May pay dividends for the future. For me I always thought Broncos was a stupid name but changing name is fraught with danger. As for colours I think the black silver red looks smart whereas the multi colour quarters is a car crash to my eyes but each to their own. Hope it all goes well.

| Hetherington is saying the right things and I like that he referred to a strategic plan for London and the South. Also the return of the academy and desire to work with fans.
However, this didn't seem to confirm new ownership (unless I misunderstood) just that some grown ups are involved who can build the case for finding some.

With Gary Hetherington getting involved suggests to me that he thinks the London plan will work otherwise he wouldn't have got involved, and also i would suggest that when he was in Australia a short time back he was involved with the new company coming in

| Is Hetherington coming in as owner or chief exec? Not really clear is it. All nice but not a lot of detail.

My guess is things are progressing but not there quite yet. However the time to make a public statement about a positive future was overdue so they went for it. I don’t blame them. They needed to show that work is going on and that they have confidence it will work. Hopefully the important parts of the puzzle will fall into place shortly. Hetherington is pretty impressive and I think we have to trust he’ll get a result. I think he’s the de facto CEO.

| It feels like they’re still joining the dots behind the scenes. Hetherington seems to be leading things even if it’s not official yet. Fair play for putting something out though, fans needed a bit of hope

| Deffo. I thought he came across v well in interview - getting people back, pulling the 3 teams together - all seems sensible.
Not sure about the Aussie focus given how London has changed of late but nice to get the big reception.
