| Don't see the appeal personally, feel fairly non plussed about it. Pants at Salford, average for GB, did well with the Bulls about a century ago with an amazing squad of talent.

Finally announced... London Broncos bring in Noble as mentor - www.londonbroncosrl.com/news/lon ... as-mentor/
Quote London Broncos bring in Noble as mentor
London Broncos Rugby League has agreed for Brian Noble to become a mentor to head coach Andrew Henderson for the remainder of the 2015 season.
Former Bradford Northern, Cronulla and Wakefield Trinity player, Noble had an illustrious coaching career at Bradford Bulls, Wigan Warriors, Crusaders and most recently Salford Red Devils. He also represented (1982-84) and later coached Great Britain for 14 games during the 2004-2006 seasons. Noble is still the most successful Super League coaching having led Bradford to three Grand Final victories.
London Broncos chairman David Hughes said: “The club and Brian Noble have agreed for Brian to mentor our head coach Andrew Henderson during the remainder of this season.
“Hopefully this will take some of the load off Andrew and we feel that Brian Noble’s extensive knowledge in rugby league can only enhance our coaching staff, with particular regard to player acquisition, contracts, tactics and style of play.
“Brian has a fantastic record and we are very excited to have him on board to help us through this Championship season.”
Head coach Andrew Henderson is delighted to be working with Noble:
“It’s a great acquisition for the club. Brian and myself have a good relationship and I’m happy to have him on board. I think he’ll really help me at the stage I’m at with my coaching career. He’ll be a great mentor figure for me and I’ll be able to bounce ideas off of him and he’ll be someone I can open up to in that regard.
“It’ll help take some of the workload off me in terms of the football operations work, negotiations and contract talks. His record speaks for itself, he’s been one of the most successful coaches here in the UK and I think we would have been wrong to not bring him in given the fact he’s available, wants to be here to help me and the club, it’s players and staff.”
Brian Noble, who will attend London Broncos home game with Dewsbury Rams on Sunday at The Hive said:
“Hendo is a friend of mine and I have a lot of time for him and I think he has a lot of talent. The dynamics of London makes it a great place to be and I want Andrew to be as successful as possible and anything I can do to help that happen I’m thrilled for.
“Part of my remit is to help Andrew and look at the football side and make recommendations. I’m encouraged by the commitment of the players, they are all enthusiastic, they’ve had some adversity with injuries and with a few people leaving, but they are all sticking together and the performances are getting better and better and that’s credit to Andrew.”

| That write up is not for a mentor. A mentor is someone you seek advice from and who provides guidance. They don't do your work for you
Mentors don't......... “ take some of the workload off me in terms of the football operations work, negotiations and contract talks.
