Quote: gutterfax "To make myself clear, I support the team, want them to avoid the drop and to prosper at the Hive in front of growing crowds who in turn attract sponsors, corporates an ultimately investors.'"
And nobody disagrees with that.
Quote: gutterfax "If people don't post inane bollox about how nice it is to be served a 1.80 coffee with a smile or how much better a stadium the hive is when compared to the Stoop, I'll avoid reminding them of exactly how far up poop creek we are and how e got there.'"
And some might find % Statistics regarding ups and downs in crowds, win ratios in years gone by just as inane. It does not make any of it wrong. I think most have the idea and understanding. Very few if any disagree with the historical perspective about how we got here. As an analogy, having fallen down the well most people try to work out how to get out rather than spending their time on the reason for ending up there. Once your out of the well you can ensure you don't fall down it again.
Quote: gutterfax "If people stop saying "we've ha a short time to build a team" then I won't remind them what caused that.'"
We know who and why, and the issue is to what end. The fact is the team is thrown together and that's the perspective we have to work from. And what is the solution? You've gone "WTF" previously, but some have suggested a Supporters Trust to try to take more of a role in influencing decisions in the club. With your background do you not see a role you could play to support this initiative to ensure it is successful?
