| From League Express:
FORMER St Helens star Sean Long has held talks with London Broncos about becoming their coach for next season if the club can secure its future.
Long, 37, who made 15 Great Britain appearances, has held talks with current coach Tony Rea, who many believe will take over a managerial role at the club if it stays afloat and its current chief executive Gus Mackay departs, as seems likely.
"I got a call off Tony last week and he asked me if I'd be interested," Long told League Express.
"Obviously I said yes. I then had an interview with him and attended two training sessions last week. I'm actually going back there to coach the boys this week.
"They are all really good lads. There are not many of them, only about eleven at the moment, but they are all really keen and they're a great bunch of lads." When asked to comment on the future of the club, Long said: "I think we are 95 per cent sure we are going to get through.
"We're hoping to join with Bamet football club, moving from south-west to north London. Hopefully that will go through in the next couple of days.
"I don't think Tony would have got me down, to be fair, if he wasn't certain of the future. I think it is a good sign they've got me down. Hopefully we'll get the nod this week and I'll start looking for somewhere to live." Last week the Broncos were granted another ten-day extension prior entering administration and they have held talks with Barnet FC Chairman Tony Kleanthous about moving to The Hive, which is now Bamet FC's home ground in north London.
Current owner David Hughes will continue to own the club during its first year at its new home.
League Express understands there is only one relatively minor point still waiting to be ironed out before the Broncos can announce that their future has been secured for the new season.
And several other clubs, with Wigan leading the way, are likely to offer a series of loan deals to the Broncos once an announcement can be made about its future.

| This is a form of torture, thinking of going to the European Court of Human Rights and seeking an injunction to stop this form of "cruel and unusual punishment"
But if we survive i am stupid enough to buy a season ticket and also will buy a shirt if its based on last year's Cup shirt!!!!

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| Be 'interesting' to see what happens on the pitch if we do survive - first game's nine weeks on Sunday.

| So we clammer for information! See what happens when we get it! Think this is a classic reason for not having every bit of info published! Yesterday in the sun article saying thats it talks fallen through its all a disaster. then today looks like it has all been sorted!
Sounds like over reaction while talks still going on, TK and DH probably wandered down the local beefeater had a pie and a pint and sorted it out!
