Last night's showing was pathetic though. At the start of the game, all those around me were saying that we need to ensure we take 2 points against the teams below us in the table and so be in the top 4 after the game at Celtic Crusaders. What transpired was incredible. I've never seen so much dropped ball in a match played in dry conditions. The first try that Will Sharp presented to Catalans would've been a moment of high comedy for me if it had been done by any other team in the competition.

Despite LU2's post, I still have faith in Brian Mac. A lot of faith. I'm travelling on Gutterfax's "Invasion of Wales bus" on Monday confident of a better performance and a confidence restoring win. Defeat in Bridgend doesn't bare thinking about.

I seem to recall at the beginning of the season he said we had a squad good enough to win Super League!

Either he was being very optimistic or made a gross error of judgement.

Seem to remember Mac saying when he first came to the club, that he wouldn't slate the players for their performance in public.
This was between him & the players to discuss & would be done behind closed doors away from the media.
Surely this is better than airing your dirty laundry in public.
As for talk of getting rid of him, "Are You For Real".
We still have a long way to go till the end of the season & the legacy Mac has put in place for us as a team, since his time in charge, will long outlast the first few weeks of this season.
We all know we can play better than we have done for the past couple of weeks & hopefully "The Celt's" will be put to the sword by the "Cockney Invaders".

Sadly a very poor observation- his involvement is

To build a team/mentality
Introduce a defensive strategy/system
Improve it week on week
Set it up for different teams as required- amongst others

He may not make the tackles but he could lose his job on others missing them
