In Watsons last interview he states that his agent has said he’s looking at other options and Ricky himself hasn’t told the club what he is doing so they are now looking elsewhere to fill his spot.
That’s a shame but we can’t force players to stay.
No doubt the naysayers will blame it on RT and say we “got rid” of him. When the reality is he chose a different club.
It opens up another overseas spot too.

In my opinion he's been the best centre in the league, he could take his pick of SL clubs and will no doubt have NRL options.

Opportunity for King if he can find some form, I would rather have Jake than Toby on current form but both are top centres on their day

The way Watson was talking about Ricky it sounds like he's signing for a club currently lower in the table, he was saying he wants people who have the ambition to win things. Does that mean he could end up in a team scrapping for the top 6 or below? Or potentially a bottom NRL team, maybe the Dolphins

Toronto I can understand for the lifestyle and travel chances though- plus it was expected to be different to how it turned out in the end- Leigh does not offer the same- why the eff would he want to live there!

Some players just go wherever they can get a gig, some go for the chance to win something, some follow the money, if leutele is the type that goes for the money I have no complaints- he’s not shirked in His efforts whilst he’s been at our club and has earned every penny so good luck to him!!!

If they get into Super League next season they will have to get rid of approx 7 quota players anyway as they have about 14 signed on.
