| A solid first half from the giants. Have had the lions share of possession, and most of the territory. They have looked bright, and quick and have forced several repeat sets.
Could have should have would have been more than 16-0 up, but some last plays just not quite coming off.
KR look disappointing in attack, tbf they have rarely been out of their own half and are having to do a heck of a lot of defence.
Hope Tony’s half time talk doesn’t change things too much.
Keep it up giants.

| A bright start to the second half- then an absolutely disgraceful decision by the touchy to call fages kick out on the full when it absolutely wasn’t - he clearly had no clue as he was miles away from it but the KR player called it so he went with that McQueen tried to tell him but he wasn’t having it- at KR the crowd would have gone crazy but our lot sat like statues.
KR scored off that set and we lost our way after that for a while.
Managed to regroup towards the end of the half.
We were solid 1-17 but I thought McQueen fages trout Yates and Levi were very good indeed.
Two points in the bag.

| Thought we were very good for 50 minutes. Defence excellent in the first half. Hill, Trout and Ikahihifo excellent up front in first half with powerful go forward. I thought it was Leroy's best game for ages. Lolohea looked incredibly dangerous as a ball carrier and support player. Levi brings real direction for the team. We lost our way with errors and some silly plays. They are a dangerous attacking team, so happy with the win. Well done.

| Danny Levi has been banned for 2 matches for "pulling at an injured player" and Theo Fages has been banned for 1 match for "a crusher tackle".
I have to admit I didn't notice either incident, nor did I see why Chris Hill was sin-binned. Can anyone give any more detail?

The reports for the first two are on the RFL disciplinary.
The Chris hill incident was a professional foul for preventing a quick conversion after Lewis had scored he wouldn’t give him the ball.
Rugby league banter page has the video of the Levi incident on their Facebook.

| Looked very good in the forwards, and the question i would ask is 'would you add Lawrence to that side?' my answer would be a resounding 'no'. His drop to the floor surrender style has held us back in attack for a while to be honest, and no i don't need to see stats on his average yard gain to know that he blunts our attack. There are plenty of good defenders out there now, so i wouldn't play him for his tackling work rate either, should be strictly a reserve for injuries now.
Danny Levi didn't stand out in the friendlies at all, but wow what a difference when there are points at stake, great signing, could be the stand out 9 this year in SL if he keeps that standard up. Absolutely love his scoot and then offload , tearing holes in oppositions at the moment. Trout has matured nicely too, and with him, Hill, Ikahihifo and English got a real strong prop forward line up with plenty of go forward and aggression, just what was needed
