I see Wakeys squad numbers have been announced today, while their 17 is decent I think they will struggle if they lose 5/6 of their first team squad'"
As all teams are running a reserves those with a lack of depth will struggle if they get a few injuries to both first team and back up players.
Most pundits are putting Toulouse hudds and salford in the bottom three. With wakey thrown in around there as well (although one pundit put wakey up at 6th) Let’s hope we can prove them wrong. Let’s face it last season we were put top 4 by some due to a single player who didn’t perform for us- so hopefully with a good SQUAD, we can put a few noses out of joint.
On paper it may look as if Wakey have assembled a squad with lack of real depth- but it looks like Pochings tactics is to rely on utility value as wakey have a large number of players who are Jack of all trades master of none- and they will cover injuries that way. It will make his day to day coaching tougher but could well pay off if they have a few injuries
