Don't understand why you had Jake Wardle (who was your best player) out on the wing. The full back, Senior didn't look fit enough to get in the correct position to defend kicks. He should have been much quicker getting across the line to defend kicks. Every tackle when Wakey attached your line he wasn't even in the picture.

Did he consider it a gimme or was he trying out a new combination or was that the best available team selection.
Whatever -- where we could have been but for all the games where we had a lead and threw it away is history now.

We are the worst team in SL on form, mainly because we have not been playing as a TEAM.

In terms of individual quality we are far from the worst, last night they decided to play as a team and surprise surprise it showed.

Why we have not done that for ten games I don’t know, likewise will we continue to do so? I don’t know.

These are imponderables, what isn’t in doubt though is that we have the players, you’d happily sign a few yourselves.

So yes we are currently the worst team in SL, the table most certainly doesn’t lie. However for the reasons given there is no real impediment as to why it should stay that way.

Maybe you were unlucky and caught us on a freaky good day, all teams have them, or worse you caught us on the day we turned the corner.

Who knows, I certainly can’t work it out.

Maybe that's where they're problems began, at one time they'd just buy a stream of Wakey players emphasis is on buy, but because Wakefield have been made substantially viable over the last few years up until the pandemic at least, that's one avenue not now available to them, probably a good thing really because they now invest in their youth system which is now showing dividends.

Well yes I’m afraid. There are few logical reason why we have suddenly gone from a top 8 team to cellar dwellers in what is actually just one season of actual RL.

The only serious loss was Brough, more for depth than anything else.

2019 was a disaster but the reasons were obvious to even the most biased of fans. Could have been handled better but hindsight and all that. We started 2020 reasonably well, 2 wins from 5 I recall.

So truth is we’ve only been monumentally crap since COVID and although it’s played it’s part in our downfall it’s still no excuse.

So let’s have some perspective, however poor we are it’s a relatively new thing and as such is hopefully transitory.

If it’s still this way same time next season then we will be truly the worst team in SL and knee deep in the poop.

I agree. There are now two reasons why I no longer detest Hudds, 1 they now stand on their own two feet, 2 we now beat them more times than they beat us, something that always softens the blow.

Told you, it’s a weird game. Will it last? I live in hope.

Even I’m baffled but not surprised.

Our pack is under a lot of pressure,try as they might some of our forwards struggle to get over the advantage line or dominate rucks,yet that’s not to say that they aren’t fully committed.

Any new coach has got to sort this out,as we have got some talented players in the three quarters.
