| After reading about the success of the Salford squad builder fund which is pushing 50k, do we have room at thr Giants for a scheme like this could be fan led even to help the club bridge the 1m deficit they already have.
I understand money is tight and people and current fans are already stretched but maybe if marketed right it could reach out to armchair fans, no direct debit maybe pay as you like scheme?
Bought my season ticket and shirt just thinking of more ways we can help Sir Ken out.

| Isn't it the same as the lottery thing the giants have, that's a good way to put a bit of extra money into the club

| We already have a squad builder fund...........
Supporting the HGSA in their ventures (something many seem reluctant to do for done reason) and signing up to the giants lottery are ways to easily support this.

| HGSA is independent to the club and is there to raise funds for the "junior development of rugby league in Huddersfield". The HGSA is run via a voluntary committee and provide varying support to the club from manning the gates at Academy and Scholarship games, raising awareness of academy games to organising events for fans to enjoy and mingle with players.
Last year the HGSA donated £14,000 to the club purely for further development of the academy.
The HGSA took over organising the Cricket Day event after it was mentioned it wasnt "kid-friendly" - another huge successful event.
The HGSA organise the fans forum.
Membership of the HGSA gives you access to:
- Monthly Speakers meetings
- A variety of social events
- Access to the Legends "Supporters Bar" on gameday including an interview with non-featured played
- Free access to the Fans Forum
- Access to a number of events and trips (such as the England-NZ Game at Elland Road)
This is for £5 a year. Even if you don't intend to go to any event its a great way to donate back to the club purely for junior development of our future stars.
The club appreciates the huge effort put in by the committee and last season we won the Keith Burhouse Memorial Award for Services to the Academy.
Please Note: I am the VC of HGSA. I'm also massively proud of the achievements of the committee and members of the HGSA.
If you are interested in joining the HGSA please PM me for details.

£5 a year?
Hardly a fortune.
