I'm still struggling as to why Sam Wood isn't getting picked in front of Gaskell ?

maybe the coaches see gaskells worth in the centres and have him ahead of sam wood and jake wardle.

Gaskell is a useful player to have on the pitch. If Russell, turner, Rankin get injured we move a second row to centre and we have another half/fullback.

Is Sam Wood now seen as a second rower too? He's filling out pretty well, I really hope he gets his chance again soon,

We probably have our first choice pack playing - ( bar maybe lawler at 13) but we will have a centre playing wing and a 2nd row playing centre. I think your best chance would be to go round us and spread it wide.

I think it’s Sam wood physicality that’s holding him back from a regular spot- every time they fill him out- he grows another 6 inches !!!! So back to square one
