anderson then got the sack and jake wanted to stay with giants but a deal had already been done with hull and he couldnt get out of it, would have had to buy him out of the deal he signed at that time

The fact is the club ended up in a position where they would have had to pay a transfer fee to keep a home grown player who was on their own books, and who didn’t want to leave.
