Shocking interview by Daryl Powell tonight England coach never should be !!!

Every loss is referee every win they are brilliant but tonight ref was right except for Cas first try which should have been disallowed was that what he was talking about !!!

Which interview do you mean? The one I saw he barely spoke. He was quite rightly disappointed. It’s not daryls usual manner

Why because he showed some testees and said it as it is rather than pussy footing around the matter like every other coach does on Sky incase they get in trouble?

Fair enough, the ref comment he will probably look back on and cringe himself later on but if that`s how he felt in the moment then so be it.

He`s passionate about the game and for me would make a great coach of our national team.

Much as I think the refereeing standard has declined recently Kendall got the Barba try totally right the only dodgy one he allowed was a Cas one.

The fact that Powell turned up only to vent his ire is what I meant ‘toys out of the pram’ again cos he’s lost still of the opinion it was poor..

Well if there's one thing they know about on this board It's whinging about the ref's, Happily nothing like as bad as it used to be.

The ref's for me don't get any better at all and the only way it will ever improve is if someone who's voice means something speaks out, Powell is far from the first to do that and it always comes across as whinging. But the fact is while the game strives to go forward, the quality of reffing gets worse, As much to do with the RFL as the man on the field.

Daryl Powell has been a breath of fresh air with the way he has turned Cas into a good side, but the way he conducted himself in the extremely brief interview was embarrassing!
The fact that Castleford's 1st try was awarded when the player clearly lost the ball was obviously missed by Powell.
Saints were by far the better side last night - just accept it Daryl and stop crying!

Powell told the truth, "saints were great, we didn't defend, I don't understand how the game is refereed any more. It wasn't the try decisions but the penalties that saints were given that led to there tries.
Anyway congrats on a great win tonight looks like you've turned the corner now.
