Reminds me of Mick Cassidy the former Wigan player who always punched above his weight.

if he has flaw it would be he thinks he's invincible in the tackle and I've seen him get his head in the wrong position and many a time had to be taken off as a lad due to head injuries, there was a time he suffer head aches so I hope that has been sorted

certainly would make my squad every time, he has a heart of a lion and never comes over as a thug attitude, his response after scoring his try might of seemed disrespectful but its nothing more than enthusiasm and why not, I never got to know which club he supported while he was at Stanley Rangers

we had a nights session at one of players parents BBQ and few drinks and we ended up playing rugby in a barn, Paul Lord was our coach his idea and didn't he regret after about 15 mins or so Paul had one of the most brutal tackles I'd seen from a 15/16 yr old oh we did laugh but he admitted to getting up groggy

So another player we want to sign up long term on the strength of a few good games, and yes they have been good games , but i remember Mason having good games, and look where that ended, let the lad get on and prove himself, If he keeps it up for a season then sit down and talk to him.

Don’t agree- I’ve watched the academy regularly and he’s stood out a mile in the academy- was also impressing the Dewsbury fans- and has looked far better now than mason did.

Have to agree with this. English has looked far better than Mason and is 4 years younger. Id rater we kept Mason than sign Walne though, what a waste he has turned out to be.

Mason wont be returning to us, i'm sure of that. Neither will any of the lads on loan.
