As a Hull fan I've been really impressed by this guy. Not really noticed him before for Huddersfield so has he raised his levels or just flown under the radar?

Was very close to winning awards for us last year, he's definitely gone under the radar but that's good for us, he's been great for us and had a fantastic season last year, getting better with every game.
He's gonna be one of the best 2nd rowers in the game in the next 4/5 years if he carries on like he has been.

Hudds born signed from Bulls academy a couple of years ago and is progressing in to a top player. Stand out in the world cup tournament and previously in qualifiers for Ireland. Highly rated by the Giants fans and am sure he will prove to be an excellent SL player as has loads of natural talent and gives 100% every game.
Hoping lots of giants players gone under the radar and due a real good bash at top 4 for next season. Settled squad who with a full pre season will hopefully surprise a few.
Oliver is definitely amongst a few rising stars at the Giants who have yet to reach their full potential.

ollie roberts impressing for ireland in the world cup is no surprise, took his sl chance at the giants with both hands and not looked back, will only get better and better... got so much game time last season too , starting in the second row... i actually think hes better impacting off the bench but may now be a starter with the experience under his belt.

In response to our Hull friend I have to agree with all the other posts on this subject its not often I have seen a young man with the potential of Ollie Roberts he had a great season last season and for a young man of 21 he is going to be one hell of player in the coming years The stand out performance last season was the Leigh game at home when Ollie absolutely smashed, bullied,and frightened Atelea Vea out of the game. Im glad you've noticed Ollie Roberts because I think you will hear a lot more of him in the future.Also for the record I had a chat with him at the awards night and found him to be a really good guy very happy to spend a few minutes talking to us old timers during the evening

Always makes time for the fans at the end of the game. My little girl had numerous pics with him, and he gives his time willingly.

Think he’s done the giants pantomime the last 2 years too.

He did some coaching with the young lads at Leroys community club too.

Look forward to seeing him get even better - still only young.

Well quite- going by the hype you'd think Jerry had just burst into the scene as a 18 year old rather than performing week in week out for years!

any comments you see about mcgillvary are he should be playing for a bigger club etc etc

But no one was making those comments a month ago- just goes to show how as a club we are missing out on tv exposure! It's unfair.

true... been overlooked for the start of sl too next season.. will get more exposure on tv the better we do i suppose .. we werent really involved last season in the super 8's..was season over once that objective was achieved.

we used to be on a fair bit but we were better then.. upto us to get back amongst the top 4!
