| He behaved like a tit. Gave the ball away in a good position because he can't keep his temper. A spell on the sidelines will do him good IMO. He's been pretty uninspiring so far- be good to see what brierley can do without brough squashing him.

| In fairness Thaler should not have let Leeds lift him off the ground and the first blow was by Ablett who shoved a hand in his face. Jamie Peacock used to regularly throw his fists around without being before the disciplinary committee, but he played for Leeds not against them.

| Carl Ablett is a clever player.
He knows full well that he can wind Danny Brough up.
10 mins for both of them in the bin is more detriment to the Giants than Leeds as showed by the clueless Giants in those 10 minutes.
Unfortunately if Danny hasn't learnt to be a bit more savvy by now he never will learn and all the oppo know it.

Normally rate Thaler, but thought he was allowing too much 'afters' at ruck clearance time from early on in the first half.
Danny got frustrated, should have been more professional though.

| think the giants are making a case to appeal this
no harm giving brierley and gaskell a go though this week, attack cant be much worse
but again its chopping and changing, oh to have a settled side
macintosh surely cant have a worse a game as his last one at full back!

| Played some of our best rugby when Brough was missing last year.
Ellis thrived on being the main man and stepped up well.. yet went back into his shell afterwards.
Gaskell and Brierly will probably do the same. Like somebody said, we can't do much worse.
Maybe Broughy needs to learn a lesson and not get away with it. Watching our struggling side on the sidelines might make him think twice about self control... wether Ablett had it coming or not!

Ablett's been at it all his playing life, niggling at every opportunity not good enough to face anybody as both Wardle in the past and now Brough has proved, but a master at the sly digs from second and third man in the tackle, shame really for a good player.

Agree with first sentence,it was when Ellis and Jake Connor were the halfs combo, and also the decoy lines looked better organised with them two as the pivots.
Only prob was then too often it was a like a hot knife through butter with some of the edge d.
This is what will concern me with a halfs combo of Gazza & Brierley if that is what he goes with this weekend. All can do is hope these two could step up to the challenge.

What does that even mean? Because he's smart enough not to throw punches back at the idiots and get banned he's somehow 'not good enough'? Brough's lucky that the disciplinary were in a generous mood, three punches vs none, both got sin binned and only a one match ban is like winning the lottery in that situation.
