Excellent appointment in my view, superb player, local lad, been here for years, knows the club inside out and commands respect.

He, along with Jerry and Bruno we're responsible for us not going down last year, with their performances and never say die attitude and it's that attitude that we need from our captain.

Fantastic choice! Ticks all the boxes for me and I really think he's one of those players whose game will grow even more with the responsibility. And on top of everything, local boy or not (added bonus in my opinion), he's earned the honour

Good luck to the lad, a Local born Giant captaining his home town club. He's very experienced with a calm head who hopefully will rub off on other players and the refs!!!
