Feared this was never gonna happen and credit to RS who obviously has stuck to his guns to bring his number one target signing to reality. Seems Jake is keen to come and hook up with Rick again so both will know how best to contribute to improving our performances from last year. Really looking forward to seeing him play and whilst unfortunate that he is currently injured will be well worth the wait in my opinion.

Team shaping up now even with the bigger numbers leaving than have signed. I was really hoping to see Wakeman sign too but this now looks unlikely but feel much better about things now we finally have our FB slot sorted.

Wakeman is still trying for an Italian passport he may be dragging his feet a little being as it is Christmas and new year!!!!!

Yeah ive heard he is still waiting for his passport to arrive - Tbh Signings signed round now such as Mamo and Wakeman I wouldn't expect to arrive till after the new year anyway now but hopefully Shannon will be over and fit ready for the first game. Doesn't sound like Jake will be fit for the start of the season.

If he's still waiting it won't be wakeman that's dragging his heels it will be the awful Italian system!!! Especially if he hasn't greased certain Italian palms heavily enough.

will bring some pace and flair to our attack, not had an a full back like him in a long time at the giants

linking up with brierley in attack will be very dangerous for opposite sides with the pace of them if they make a break

shame he picked up the injury, had screws taken out of the ankle the other day and now time to start walking again and rehab work, expected over here mid january, would have been over now if it wasnt for the injury

may miss first few games for us so we still need to find a full back for early games, id say maybe gaskell?

Buy the sounds of things mate we have 2 Aussies still to come in. Wakeman - once he gets his Italian passport and a NSW cup centre. I think Gaskell will start at FB until Mamo is fit but then he will be first choice cover for halves and full back.

If these come to fruition as well as been able to get another hooker in.... either Dwyer on season long loan or Adam O Brien (depending on what happens to the bulls) we look to have a very strong squad even in depth.

If we don't get another hooker in and Leeming gets injured we may see a Gaskell/Brierley partnership in the halves with Broughy in at hooker.

Or we could promote one of our promising youngsters....
