Does anyone know when we are likely to release our squad numbers for the coming season?

prob when they have announced our new signing (s) to complete the squad

who they going to give the number 1 number too?! cant do it yet with mamo not announced

cant give wardle a number if he is going

maybe they are waitiing till the season ticket deadline is over to announce mamo/wardle swap as some wont be happy about it

Do you think people are happier going into the season without a fullback?
IF Mamo was already signed he would have been announced. Too late now to get those waverers to buy last minute season tickets. If they had actually made any signings they may have sold a few more than the pathetic number we have.

they might have been waiting to see how his operation has gone, amongst other reasons unknown to us as to why it hasnt been announced yet, newcastle will have a say too and wardle

if season tickets were given away for free we still wouldnt get 10k!

Perhaps not- but if we had signed, say, walker and hardaker we would have sold a fair few more. We've sold fewer than we did a few years ago.....

So Huby, Eorl, Wood grix and Johnson have gone (not counted Ellis as we have replaced with Gaskell, we were light in the forwards anyway so Clough should be an addition!) some say they aren't bothered-fair enough but I'd id be a lot happier with those players added to the squad than what we currently have!!!!

According to some on here there's no point - we have no players, none are coming in and we will finish bottom !!!

Goodness me no. No offence to murph But with murph at the back teams will easily defend against us. He can do a job there in a crisis but no way in this game is he a fullback.

The club are doing themselves no favours, they want fans to buy into the club yet they continue to ignore the needs of the fans, l apprieciate they cannot name names, if ongoing negotiations are taking place, but the least they could do is say they are in talks and signings will be made. l am always optimistic, but i need something to be optimistic about, l have stated previously l think we need a couple of quality signings, not just to boost the squad , but to also boost ST sales. The club cannot complain that interest from the public has dropped off, when they don,t appear to have any interest in keeping us informed, l don,t expect names, but l need to know things are happening, we are looking light, and time is getting short, my optimism will start waning, and so will the stayaway fans.

Spot on it's called PR ! Something Thewlis has never heard of. As you say the word should be that signings are on the way. Nice that Eorl is now pushing tickets but he needs something to sell! If we at 4K now we have just halved last years income 2 decent signings and keep offer open till opening game might put 2k on hopefully Eorl hasn't got a magic wand in 2 weeks!

No I'm not ! I'm not saying 2 signings will do that but what def won't work is no PR no signings then stopping selling them before xmas and then doubling the price
