| All home games now on a Friday night.
I for one am happy about this as it will mean I no longer have to miss any games!
£120 for a season ticket is a bargain in my eyes and I have already persuaded a couple of friends to get one.

| Will not go down well with many fans and probably a big shock that it was only announced when season ticket renewals went out.
But.
It is a bold and decisive step announced by the club where I feel they had no option. The previous messing around with days because of sky meant that the could not have any marketing strategy. Fridays gives them that opportunity.
Something I said the club should do two or three years ago.
the right thing to do in the circumstances and goood luck to them in that endeavour.
What I will say is that the stewarding in th efamily stand needs to be upped to make sure that the new fans it bring in don't use it as an excuse for an early up with the usual anti social behaviour that goes with it. They don't want to bring back the older teens and 20 somethings and alienate that core of older fans and families that have been around for a long time

| personally, i don't agree with friday night games, but people haven't been coming on sundays either have they? so can't really blame the club for trying something else.
With the cheap season tickets it could persuade more local young fans to come along for something to do on a friday night and hopefully build up a new generation of supporters.
It's not going to please everyone but then again nothing will.
Hopefully people will stop sulking, buy season tickets and buy into what RS wants to do with the club.

Just out of interest, what is the family stand? i presume you mean the lower of the riverside, has it ever been marketed at families or is it just where families tend to go? like the back, middle of the Kilner bank has never really been marketed as the noisy section but that's how it's evolved over the years.
Serious question as i wasn't aware we had a family stand.
As for the older teens, these are the age group we are lacking and should be targetting IMO, families will tend to drift away as will young teenagers and the older fans usually just moan but keep coming anyway

| Older teens and twenty somethings are exactly what we need, they are the future and hold the key to expand our fan base.

Exactly! Some people are complaining it's not family friendly and so can't go- no it's not as family friendly but to suggest that means you can't go I don't understand. Rick Stone said he prefers Sundays, Sundays suit us better too but Sundays weren't working for the club as people weren't coming anyway and the disruption to the team was terrible. This way no 4/5 day turnarounds for the players, it allows The team to prepare in a more structured way. Better preparation for games can surely only be a good thing. The price is awesome- only get to 5 games all season And you
Still aren't out of pocket.
Get your tickets bought!

| Prefer Sundays,a more leisurely feel to the whole RL day,but it won't stop me renewing the ST. Wasn't expecting the huge price cut,a very generous gesture by SKD. Although had £250 put aside anyway which I would have had no complaint about paying had it come to that. Can well understand why the club have made this move in terms of less disruption due to TV changes, hope it works out.
Are we still having Thursday night RL for TV in 2017?

| I prefer Sunday as it is more leisurely going to the game after lunch and getting back in time for tea. But Friday it is rush your evening meal dodge the traffic and we don`t get home while after 11pm.
It might not be so bad if you are in Huddersfield to start with. But having said all that if it improves attendances then I will be satisfied and accept it gladly.
Will even allow me to attend a championship game on Sunday.
